Lindsay Lohan's Dad Wants Conservatorship

Remember when Britney Spears' father took conservatorship over his daughter after she shaved her head? Well, now Michael Lohan is following in the same footsteps as Spears' father and told TMZ that he'll be in L.A. Monday to start the legal process of gaining conservatorship for Lindsay Lohan. Michael said he is open to someone else assuming that role. TMZ reported that the 'Mean Girls' actress violated the terms of her probation and could wind up in jail -- a claim her lawyer has since denied.

Lindsay is in New York and has refused to meet with her father after Michael brought cops to Lindsay's apartment for an intervention last week.

LIndsay took to Twitter to rant against the family patriarch. "I have no choice but to make this public, due to my sister's safety, as well as my own, 'my ex-dad' just WALKED INTO MY APT like the devil's advocate with officers...."

Lohan continued her tirade, tweeting, "Let's not forget, that my father KIDNAPPED me from a COURT ROOM when I was 4 years old and is CRAZY."

What cash? She is 600k in credit card debt. Both her parents are idiots but more so the mother. Image letting a teen daughter live with a drug and booze addict who can niot even take care of herself. Lindsay is mostly responsible for her own bad decisions but her parents certainly aided this train wreck.

Lohans parents are both in need of help. Lindsay is the way she is I believe, because of the lack of proper parenting. The media is no help either for reporting each and every move the girl makes. Maybe if they would stop it may help her too.

While I agree that conservatorship should be given, I believe it should be a court appointed. I wouldn't give either Dina or Michael Lohan conservatorship of a boiled egg! Talk about dysfunctional parents, both of them. He's in and out of jail, and she's in denial. Their children never stood a chance.

He wants to be like Britney's dad...but the differences are...Britney is MAKING money, and her dad isn't putting his hands in her till...I think he is being paid, tho...but he is doing an amazing job and the girl has turned herself arounf. The only thing the Lohan male snake wants is to control something and use Lindsey even more than he has in the past. He is a viper, a sludge and a leech and should allow L.L. to ruin herself...mainly because he is a used bag of garbage. JMHO!!!
