Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon Exchange Vows ... Again

In celebration of their second wedding anniversary, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon renewed their vows Friday at their Beverly Hills home. Carey wore a cleavage-baring white dress, while Cannon donned a white suit for the outdoor ceremony. The 'Obsessed' singer went on Twitter to share the news. "So last night's wedding vow renewal & small party was a SG..too many cameras(from close & far!) but it was beautiful. NC is the best," she wrote. "The festive moments continue. Sending LOVE to all the LAMBS in the land as always and happiness to everyone out there."

Friday's ceremony marked Carey's third walk down the aisle with Cannon. The couple wed in April 2008 at Carey's Bahamian estate after dating for only six weeks.

According to PEOPLE, Cannon gave his wife a custom-made "Ring Pop" as a surprise gift during the ceremony. Hand crafted at Jason of Beverly Hills jewelers, the sparkler was made of white gold encrusted in white diamonds and pink sapphires.

Last month, Cannon said he and Carey planned to renew their vows. "I encourage everybody to do it," he said at the time. "If you are happy and in love, celebrate it!" he told PEOPLE.

Earlier this week, Carey shot down rumors that she was expecting her first child, Usmagazine.com reports.

Although new photos of the singer, 40, with husband Nick Cannon prompted speculation that she might be with child, her rep denies the rumors, telling Us that Carey is "not pregnant."

I think getting married again each year is a great idea - it might actually keep more men from Tiger Woods-ing their women. But I wish these two would have more respect for their relationship and stop involving the public in it so much.

Tiger-Woodsing their women, how about Donald Trumping their women (3 times married & affair), Larry Kinging their women (about 5 or more times married & affairs) etc. Why is the white man always exempt from being the poster boy for bad behavior even when he continuously marries, divorces, gets a younger model or celebrity or whatever far more so than Tiger with his one marriage. Another good one was Michael Landon, TV father image, who was like the old lady in the shoe, had so many wives and children, he didn't know what to do or stop) Stay out of Tiger's business.

As long as the love is still alive and vibrant, I think it's a great idea to renew your wedding vows yearly. I think I remember reading that Holly Robinson Peete and Heidi Klum do this as well.

My husband and I do this every year, too. There is something about looking into each other's eyes and saying those words year after year. They mean so much more each time we say them. It says "I will marry you again and again.".
And, if there are any men who think this is something thought up by a woman, my husband is the one who came up with the idea.
