The late night wars are never-ending, it seems. Conan O'Brien told the world that he felt betrayed by NBC and Jay Leno on '60 Minutes.' David Letterman insults Leno every chance his gets these days, and Jay himself gave a mediocre performance at the White House Correspondents' Dinner -- giving his many adversaries more ammunition to fire at him.
But here's the thing. Conan has a new show (and $32 million to boot), and Leno is once again beating Letterman in the ratings. So why is this still a thing? The Girls on Pop have no idea, and they wish it would stop.

40 million walk away money in his pocket for getting his show canceled and he is till crying. What does Conan expect?. If you and I went for a job and they offered it to me am I suppose to say, no thanks give it to the other guy. What everyone fails to admit is that both Lenos show at 10 and Conan at 1130 didnt work. NBC is sittling back letting these two guys get the headlines so they dont look bad. Somebodys got to wake up.

OH HELL CONAN, JUST SHUT THE HELL UP. YOU HAVE 32 MILLIONS OF DOLLARS THAT U CAN PUT TO BETTER USE THAN YOU TO KEEP RUNNING YOUR MOUTH. YOU ARE SOUNDING MORE AND MORE LIKE AN IDIOT. NO ONE IS FEELING SORRY FOR YOU. GIVE IT A DAMN REST

First of all Conan isn't whining. He is doing interviews to promote his new show and he has every right to answer questions about his departure from the Tonight Show because people are still interested in hearing his side. Why else would journalists keep asking him about it?
I don't understand why everybody is saying he needs to let it go, I really don't. Leno went on Oprah and whined for an hour. Zucker released statements basically blaming Conan for anything. Conan hasn't said a word about it until that interview. He deserved the right to tell his side of the story too. Now they can put it to bed. However, if NBC and Leno did it, he deserved his chance too.

My only question reguarding late night TV is, who's nephew is Jimmy Fallon?
This witless dupe should be asking people if they want fries with their burger.
Letterman was ok early on . Now he is a erk . He isnt even funny . The best way to get this trash to go away is dont watch it .
My god. I just realized . No Sandra Bullock story today

# 1 - Letterman is a lowlife, based on his own admissions & the every bit of his humor is mean-spirited - kind of like a high school bully that you knew you eventually had to smack in the mouth. # 2 - Conan seems like a decent guy, but for anyone over 20 he is not funny & the overwhelming majority of the viewers tuned him out after the first few weeks. # 3 - The minute Leno was back on the air he went right back to kicking Letterman's butt, just like before, so aren't Leterman's rants ridiculously self-serving?

I agree. Conan had 6 months and his ratings were awful. Letterman is upset, as he dominated Conan and is now losing again to Jay. Last I looked, Conan came in and bumped George Lopez to a later time slot on his new network. I thought Conan made the powerplay to secure the tonight show and signed a contract years in advance of his move to take Jay's place. Was Jay sitting at the table when Conan signed that contract? I think not. Quit crying Conan and move on.

The Bones series is such a horrible TV series. Why would they take "Without a Trace" off and force feed an ersatz to a gullible TV audience? Inconceivable!

It's articles like this why there is still drama anyways. This "drama" will end when crappy journalists like these people quit milking it.

Letterman and Conan need to shut the hell up. Jay is back and beating Letterman in the ratings. Letterman is so jealous of Jay until it is sickening. Love Jay. He is the best. Get over it Conan and Letterman.

Does Conan think everyone took a mental enema and forgot that he told NBC 6 years ago that if he didn't get the Tonight Show in 5 years he was leaving the network???? The Tonight Show was at the top of the ratings and NBC told Jay that they were giving the show to Conan in 2009. Conan had the option to stay with the Tonight Show at a later time-he refused-Thank God!! Now the Tonight Show is back in the #1 slot all thanks to Jay. I don't know how many people get to walk away from their jobs with millions in their pockets. Conan-you're just not funny and your ratings proved it.

Adrienne,
EXACTLY!!!
SHUT THE HECK UP already, with this whining over "poor Conan".
He got millions to leave THE TONIGHT SHOW and will rake in The Bucks with his new show. Meanwhile, poor saps like me are losing their homes with no place to go. All this hoopla over a "tv star" and a "show"! Makes me sick.

how about the media letting go of the story???? duh

That beard reminds me of AL Gore when he had a meltdown over chads. Conan...grow up and stop whining. Get a life of you own, and stop leaning all over Leno and NBC to keep your memory alive. If your show was any good, you'd still be on.
