Conan O'Brien showed the world what's been going through his mind (and beard) since his ouster from 'The Tonight Show' and NBC during his '60 Minutes' interview this past week. Everyone wants a piece of the red-headed comic now that his speaking embargo is up, but CoCo isn't in the mood to keep on talking -- even if it's with Oprah Winfrey or Jay Leno's nemesis, David Letterman. And judging from what people are telling me, that's a good move.Conan O'Brien Says No to Oprah and Letterman

Everyone wants a piece of the red-headed comic now that his speaking embargo is up, but CoCo isn't in the mood to keep on talking -- even if it's with Oprah Winfrey or Jay Leno's nemesis, David Letterman. And judging from what people are telling me, that's a good move.Conan Says No to Oprah, Letterman
Over 13 million viewers tuned in to watch Conan O'Brien tell '60 Minutes' that NBC "broke his heart," however, TV insiders tell me that Conan now needs to shut up and focus on his future if he doesn't always want to be known as the guy that hosted 'The Tonight Show' for a few months.
"Conan doing one big sit down interview was a good idea -- only if he never talks about 'The Tonight Show' again," one TV insiders tells me. "Conan came across well, but if he doesn't shut up, it's going to seem as if he's whining. The best thing he could do is focus on his new show. Look forward instead of looking back. After all, it's hard to feel sorry for a guy who got paid over $30 million to NOT work."
Conan seems to be taking this advice to heart. Sources tell me he has been offered many more interviews -- with Larry King, Oprah and even David Letterman -- all of which he has turned down.
Hopefully, the next time we hear from Conan, he will be doing his monologue on TBS! (And no 'Tonight' jokes. You are better than that.)
Halle's Custody Battle
Someone who knows how to keep her mouth shut is Halle Berry. Following her split from model Gabriel Aubry, with whom Halle has a 2-year-old daughter, the actress has remained silent.
However, behind the scenes, I hear the couple, who had been together for four years, are in non-stop negotiations over daughter Nahla.
"Gabriel is determined to be part of his daughter's life. He loves Nahla a great deal, and even though he has split with Halle, he has no intention of letting Nahla go," a friend of the model tells me. "It's still early and they are both behaving like great parents, but if things do turn nasty, Halle can expect a fight."
Let's hope things keep moving forward. Make little Nahla proud.
'SATC' vs. Michael Douglas
Michael Douglas is getting ready to go head-to-head with Sarah Jessica Parker and the ladies of 'Sex and The City 2' on May 24 when they both roll out their red carpets on the same night in New York City.
"Foolishly, the Lincoln Center Film Society has planned a tribute to Michael Douglas on the same night as the 'Sex and The City 2' premiere in New York," laughed one event planner.
"It's a total disaster and Michael's event cannot be moved. I hope Michael is planning on having a very small red carpet, because, let's face it, all the press are going to be with the 'Sex' girls."
Michael, we love you, but this is not a fair fight. I just hope Catherine goes with you instead of going to see the movie!

Conan whines for getting paid more money than most folks make in a lifetime for doing nothing! Talk about ungrateful! Also, he knew just what and why NBC was closing down his show: he just isn't any good at what he was doing and wasn't making them any money! Blaming Jay Leno or anyone else seems like a child, instead of a man. If Conan was any good, he'd still be working for NBC! Conan is just super UNGRATEFUL! Getting paid for not working? Wouldn't the millions of Americans, plus other folks of the world be happy to take the money and run, without whining so much. He doesn't even qualify to get another show, & hope it sinks too.

This is just rude. I dislike Oprah because I just don't find her entertaining. I don't feel like people should use real women have curves or big girls are beautiful as an excuse to be fat, but people don't need to be outright disrespectful.

Yes, Conan does like to make fun of overweight women--typical frat boy humor. He made fun of Kristi Alley mercilessly until Kristi tweeted: "Conan acts like I bit off his penis."
That finally shut Mr. Sensitivity up.

Some really disturbing hatefilled people on here. Maybe Conan is just being Human? Hurt by being stabbed in the Back? Also, for all you Hispanic Haters. Maybe it is time to look at and concentrate of the ones that hate us the most. LIKE MIDDLE EASTERNERS THAT BUILD BOMBS..........All the Hispanics are doing are the jobs we, Yes I am white, will not do. Nice people.

conan was never funny. and if he does not want to talk with oprah or dave then well and good. NBC is the one that made Jay hand over the Tonight show. Jay didn't want to leave. What NBC saw in conan is a mystery.

A couple of points...
Not a fan but my hat is off to him for not doing more interviews, at least at this time.
The last I knew, the stars did not make decisions as to when their programs would be aired. That is up to the network people that do that for a living. Otherwise we would be having all sorts of tantrums out there with the stars saying I want that time I am better then you.......etc. Stop and think people!!!
Oh and I do wish him well in his new job at a new network.

Judy - you're a racist. Shame on you! Your reason for not watching certain shows is ridiculous.

When did he ever stop whining? I cannot stand him. I did watch the interview, and was more disappointed in him than before. If I had ever been a fan, I would not be now.

I think Conan should do Letterman right before the TBS show starts. Letterman was totally supportive of Conan. I understand why he would not do Oprah since she really glorified Jay.

I loved David Boreanz on "Bones," but he and his kind just make me SICK. Leave your wife and children -- pay the alimony and support they deserve -- just leave them in peace. Be an "away" dad and keep your kids away from your mistresses. AND, leave your poor wife in peace. There are other DECENT guys out there who will love a beautiful and, I'm sure, sweet lady -- what you guys do is dispicable. I don't even know if my husband will understand why I'm not going to watch future episodes of "Bones," and I hope his co-star can get a wonderful series in place of it. She's terrific!

O'Brien, you should really stop whining and wallowing in self pity. You have made more in a year than the average Joe will make in ten; you lost the battle but the war goes on. Get over it!
