On 'The View' Tuesday, Elisabeth Hasselbeck criticized ESPN sportscaster Erin Andrews for dressing inappropriately on 'Dancing With The Stars.' Noting that Andrews has faced two separate stalking incidents in the past year, Hasselbeck said, "In light of what happened and as a legal [matter] -- and as inexcusable as it was for that horrific guy to go in and try to peep on her in her hotel room ... I mean, in some way if I'm him, I'm like, 'Man! I just could've waited 12 weeks and seen this -- a little bit less -- without the prison time!'"But when Hasselbeck returned to the 'View' stage on Wednesday, she was singing a new tune. Tearfully, Hasselbeck said she regretted the remarks and opened up to her 5-year-old daughter at home -- who convinced her to call Andrews and apologize.

The View is the most annoying and totally stupid show ever allowed on the network. All the women (including Barbara) are ignorant and sad. The network needs to wise up and kick them all off the air. I have never watched an entire episode...it's simply too annoying.

Amen to that! The scary thing is that some people actually listen to these idiots and believe what they say. Walters is a moron, I don't know how she ever got to where she has..and don't even get me stared on Behar.
Your opinion. I actually love the show because of all the different "views". If I only wanted one side I would have FOX news on all day. I love to hear the different perspectives from all the women. If you don't like it, fine - don't watch.
Elisabeth is jelous because she wouldn't look as good in those outfits as Erin does!

Let me repeat myself - in case there was some misunderstanding - SHE IS AN IDIOT!!!! That's my opinion - if you think Joy is one too or is not funny or should think before she speaks, then that would be your opinion. But Joy wasn't the one who made the stupid remark - it was uh, let me say it again - the idiot, Elizabeth. The only reason why she apologized is probably because she was told to, not because she "felt" terrible about hurting someone's feelings.
I am not an Elizabeth fan , but I don't think she meant to really hurt her feelings. This was a case where she should have just kept her opinion to herself.

this was not just a matter of hurting someone's feelings. this was saying that a woman got what she deserved for i don't what. if i remember erin was not walking around in public with just her underwear on when that man stalked her. he invaded her privacy by filming her through her door's keyhole! elisabeth NEVER had any reason to say what she said. and i would have the same answer if it was president obama who said it.
Elizabeth needs to keep her stupid mouth shut.

Elizabeth was sorry for her faux pas. We all make mistakes and say things that hurt others. I enjoy her on the View as she is a conservative and all the others are soooo liberal. I prefer the program when Barbara is not on as she seems to wander and ramble when giving her views. And Joy is always thinking about a punchline with her cheshire cat grin face. So we all have our favorites mine is Whoopie as even though she is liberal she is willing to listen to the other side. And with our own views it is what makes the world an interesting place.

I dont believe for one minute that Elizabeth talked to her 5 yr old daughter about this. I think someone got to Elizabeth and reprimanded her for making such a sexist statement. Basically saying that a woman is stalked or attacked because of the way they dress. That it was their fault.
