Kristen Stewart on Crazed Twi-hards, Seeming 'Miserable'

Ramping up for the next round of vampire madness with 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' set to drop in June, Kristen Stewart graces the cover of this month's Elle, talking relationships (why she doesn't divulge much), Twi-hards (yup, they're mental) and if she's really as glum as the tabloids make her out to be. For highlights, read on.

K-Stew doesn't kiss and tell: "I would never cheapen my relationships by talking about them. People say, 'Just say who you're dating. Then people will stop being so ravenous about it.' It's like, No they won't! They'll ask for specifics."

K-Stew doesn't see K-Stew the way the media sees K-Stew: "I think it's funny that when I go onstage to accept an award, they think I'm nervous, uncomfortable and awkward -- and I am -- but those are bad words for them."

K-Stew is not depressed on the red carpet: "People say that I'm miserable all the time. It's not that I'm miserable, it's just that somebody's yelling at me ... I literally, sometimes, have to keep myself from crying ... It's a physical reaction to the energy that's thrown at you."

K-Stew can't really do normal-person things in the wake of the Twihards: "It's insane! Once somebody finds out, you have to get the hell out of wherever you are. People freak out. Somebody knocked on my hotel room door and asked for a light, then said that they were a big fan. I was like, 'Do you really need me to light your cigarette? How do you know what room I'm in?' I can't be by myself and I like being by myself."

I absolutely adore this girl. I love how she isn't the type to put on a fascade and paste a goofy smile on her face 24/7. What you see is what you get with her. She's not your typical fake and plastic Hollywood actress, and you can tell she's extremely intelligent which isn't typical either of girls her age in that profession.

Why is the Kristen chick even an actress if she feels like crying on the red carpet, thinks her fans are crazy, and doesn't like having her pic taken? I think she picked the wrong profession. Maybe being a "librarian" would be a good job for her...she could be alone, read and stack books all day, and go out to eat and enjoy herself anywhere she goes 'cause no one would give a crap...Just sayin'

Can't she have an opinion? Or say what she thinks? If people don't like what she says then don't pay money to see her. Easy. She's interesting and not of a cookie cutter mold. There's certainly enough stepford wife actresses around; she isn't and she's a breathe of fresh air.

Well, Maggie, don't look at her. One would have to presume you and others like you have not read the "Twilight" books. She is spot on the character. Check out "Panic Room" and her performance in that with Jodie Foster. She is an outstanding actress. But, you are entitled to your opinion like everyone else.

Kristen Stewart is a pure example of what brutal honesty is like. You don't get to see that often in Hollywood. She doesn't suck it up or go around acting like everything is prefect which to many people who dream of being celebrities is offensive in the sense that she breaks that little dream bubble. I love her! She is an actress by nature, she knows which characters fit her best and is not afraid to take risks, therefore she is having fun doing her thing while the rest of the population grow green with envy because she's getting a lot of attention for not trying to fit into the hollywood barbie mold.

1 I hate the twilights movies/books , if you want to read a GOOD vampire book/books read The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice,and as for a movie Interview with the Vampire is the best Vampire movie ever! .Period.2 this girl's acting sucks she pauses ever other word like she gonna start hyperventilating she is way over rated the whole Twilight crap is way over rated too-

The issue isn't if people like or hate Twilight, that's just personal taste. The issue is what she said in this article and if she looks miserable.

She does look like she's miserable & put-out all the time.
I've seen alot of her interviews & she barely gives any information & acts like she doesn't want to be there & tell anybody anything . .
Her acting is monotone and shallow too.
And if she's going to whine & moan about losing her privacy, then she should have picked a different career.
Why would anybody who likes to be left alone go into the entertainment profession!!? *hello*?

Plus, she already know about lack of privacy after doing Twilight - yet she went and did the Runaway's movie; did she expect MORE privacy after that?

She may be a great person, but I wouldn't know it from what I see of her on and off screen. What I do know is that I don't have a whole lot of sympathy for her.
