Kim Cattrall Is No Samantha Jones in the Sex Dept.

It's easy to confuse Kim Cattrall with the sexual dynamos she tends to play onscreen (Samantha on 'Sex and the City,' a porn star in the upcoming 'Meet Monica Velour'), but she used an interview with the UK's Daily Express to clue us in on something: She's not the sex fiend she plays.

"Most of my life hasn't been very fulfilling sexually," Cattrall, 53, says. "At one point in my mid-30s, I thought, 'Maybe I'm just not a very sexual woman. I play women who are sexually aware, but maybe I'm not going to be particularly active.'"

Cattrall split from her 20-years-younger boyfriend last year. "I've been so busy that I haven't had time to adjust," she says. "Whenever you step out for a drink or dinner, whoever you're with becomes your latest beau, which is a bit of a laugh for my gay friends."

The actress also hammers down the fact she's most definitely not Samantha, saying, "I'm a serial monogamist, not shy, but it takes a lot for me to initiate anything. My preference is a clean-shaven man who smells fresh and clean."

Not believable. Didn't Kim and her last husband co-author a book (it sold well) called "SEX?" Something like that. Well, how can a couple (or even one person) write it without experience/knowledge of what they are talking about??? Duh.

Didn't know she was such a fabricator. She did a book and DVD with her exhusband about their sexual life. She posed nude on the cover holding her legs in her arms to cover her nasty bits.

It takes two to be "sexually aware" - an unselfish man and a woman who can trust. It takes time and practice. You can learn all kinds of tricks in sex books but it takes a lot of time to really BE with each other. Good luck with it, Kim! I have even lousier luck than you do...

RockDad: I remember seeing that on a marquis near Times Sq. in NYC in early 80's as "Bad Girls" but there were other movies done in that time with Bad Girls in the title that were not porn like Bad Girls Dormitory - Bad Girls - by itself was a separate movie & did play at some theatre early 80's (a theatre near the Green Door theatre in NYC).... she was in that? do tell.
