Reality Star Gets Jail in Orlando Bloom Burglary

Alexis Neiers, who was accused of burglarizing
Orlando Bloom's Los Angeles home, pleaded no contest to felony burglary Monday, striking a deal with prosecutors shortly before her trial was slated to begin. Neiers, who stars in E!'s 'Pretty Wild,' will be sentenced to three years of formal probation and 180 days in county jail,
ABC News reports. She also agreed to stay away from Bloom and his home. She's to report to jail on June 24 to begin her sentence.
"Ms. Neiers feels it's in her best interest to take the people's offer because of the amount of jail time that could possibly occur ... and she wants to move on with her life," her attorney, Jeffery Rubenstein, told Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Peter Espinoza (via
E! News).
Neiers is one of six people accused of targeting the homes of celebrities -- including those of Megan Fox, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan -- and stealing millions in jewelry, clothing and other luxury items. The "Burglar Bunch" also includes Rachel Lee, 19; Nicholas Prugo, 19; Diana Tamayo, 20; Courtney Ames, 19; and Roy Lopez Jr., 28.
"It's been a long road and Alexis is looking forward to moving on with her life," Rubenstein said after today's hearing. "After lengthy consideration and fighting the best pretrial fight we could, we decided it was in Alexis' best interest to take responsibility for her small part in this incident and do a little bit of county jail time instead of a lengthy state prison sentence if convicted."
Bloom, star of the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' and 'Lord of the Rings' films, had been expected to testify at the trial.
Neiers avoided a hefty sentence -- a felony burglary count could have netted her up to six years in prison. Neiers had previously pleaded not guilty for her role in the heist.

The thing that drives me crazy is that, even though she was sentenced to six months in jail, she'll probably only serve a few days due to over-crowding or some other BS reason. Personally, I think she should do some prison time.

I disagree I don't think Alexis didn't seal anything just wrong place at the wrong time. No contest means you didn't do the crime and you weren't found gulity either.
WRONG, Blusfan - No contest means you have nothing to offer that would exonerate you from the crime so it is, in essence, pleading guilty. It will go on her record as a guilty plea. She should spend some hard prison time for this crime. She is guilty and is a thief. It really frosts my butt that these criminals now have a reality show BECAUSE they are thieves.
Wrong place , Wrong time. They have video Surveillance of her. The stupid bit*h Probably thought she was at a party and they were handing out goodie bags. Unfortunately for her being utterly stupid isnt a defense.
A felony on your record is a gift that keeps on giving.
These kids screwed up big time.
does she need a cell mate
I totally agree, but rob a house get a reality show. it's crazy
I totally agree....let's be honest if this was some joe blow off the street going around taking other people's property..that they work for...that person would have gotten serious hard time in a state prison- regardless of first offense, rehabilitive potential or any other factor....the so called justice in this land truly sickens me. Let's either crack down on all or let's give others the same second chance!!
I am really disgusted at how she acts. I mean you did the crime and you should do the time. She is old enough to tell the difference between right and wrong and there is no excuse why she shouldnt be punished for her crime. The way that her mother lets her and her sisters get away with the things that they do on the show is sickening to me. The way that they talk to her you can tell that they are spoiled. I really think that they all need a reality check and this will do her some good. Its ashame how some people raise their kids

I disagree Alexis didn't do the crime and she shouldn't have to go to jail since she did nothing wrong just the wrong place at the wrong time. No contest means not gulity and you didn't do the crime.
If no one has ever heard of you except 5 reality tv junkies who have no life and would give their left arm to be on tv for 2 minutes, does that make you a star????????????
Does anyone even watch this crappy show? I've heard of it, but it would never occur to me to watch it. I can't stand it when the celebrities act like spoiled trash. These girls are never-was status and always will be.
Maybe when this idiot goes to jail they'll cancel the show.
Have you seen this chick's body? She's too darned cute to send to jail in my opinion. The judge must have been gay or something. There are plenty of fat, ugly chicks that could have gone to jail instead. This is an outrage.

I agree ,and now she is a felon, which is worse than the time in jail. She needs to pick her friends better
idiot
What if she killed your mom?? Is she still too cute to go to jail?
I haven't scene the honey but your right the stank ho's ride around on those power carts because their too big to walk normally. They want the basket to carry their food so they can eat and drive!
If being an idiot was a crime, you would spend life in jail.
I hate to admit, I love this show! It's so entertaining to find out just how unintelligent and indulged Hollywood kids can be! I always have a laugh at the "problems" these girls indulge in. And their Mother is just as flaky! Oh, but to have their concerns! Good Luck, Girls. I certainly hope you don't wake up in the "real world" any time soon!

I don't think Alexis was ever gulity she didn't do this crime just wrong place at the wrong time. Reason she pleaded no contest she knew she wasn't gulity of the crime and just to get on with her life took the deal plus I don't think she didn't steal anything.
