'Dancing With the Stars' Wants Betty White

Even at 88, Betty White has the ambition of a 20-something! She brought down the house on 'Saturday Night Live' after her rabid fans on Facebook got her on the show, and now she's being recruited by yet another massively popular show: 'Dancing With the Stars.' Oh, Betty, you're in such high demand! But can she hang with the grueling workouts and routines? Details on her potential 'Dancing' dreams after the jump!

After her ratings bonanza hosting 'Saturday Night Live,' Betty White has been made another offer to bring everyone's favorite Golden Girl back to primetime.

"'Dancing With The Stars' would love to have Betty White grace the dance floor next season," a show insider tells me. "Not only would she guarantee great ratings, she would also make it easier for a lot of big celebrities -- who up to now have been sitting on the fence -- to sign on. There is no one bigger or more respected than Betty White."

If she agreed to be part of the next season, who knows who else the show would get!

Sources tell me Betty hasn't agreed to anything yet and is worried about how she would keep up with some of the younger contestants. However, she does have a great Cha Cha Cha!

Is there anything this national treasure can't do? Now we'll just have to see if she can deliver a kick line with the same precision she does a punchline.

Kendra Wants In on Sex Tape Profits

Last week, news broke that reality star Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett had recorded a sex tape a few years ago. Now sources tell me that if Kendra cannot stop the release of the tape, then she wants to make sure she gets a cut of the profits.

"Kendra is no dumb blonde when it comes to business," a friend of Kendra tells me. "She has made millions selling reality shows and photographs of herself both clothed and naked. Now she's going to make millions off her sex tape."

It's an odd business, show business, isn't it? I get that if her celebrity is going to be exploited she may as well cash in, but could you imagine being a new mom and having to make that decision?

Bethenny Frankel Had Cameras in Delivery Room

Bethenny Frankel from 'The Real Housewives of New York' gave birth to a beautiful baby girl last week. Guess who was waiting to greet her new daughter in the delivery room? Reality camera crews!

"Bethenny doesn't want to live off camera. She wants her whole life documented. Why would the birth of her daughter be any different?" asked a friend. "A new reality star has been born."

Neither Bethenny nor a representative for her returned my emails for comment. Now don't go getting all shy on us Bethenny!

This decision to be on DWTS is Betty's not anyone elses. If she wants to we will certainly enjoy this part of her life. I am so happy that the entertainment groups have realized what a "Golden" individual and blessing Betty White is. No overtly brazen nudity, no bad personal attitude, no drug adictions, just a person who lives life cleanly to the fullest. Betty White is a role model for young Hollywood!

I love, love, love Betty White...but she is much too fragile for DWTS. If you noticed she needed a bit of help standing, etc on SNL. But I have to say, she is in great shape for her age. Kisses Betty:)

No, Betty should not do it, and why would the show risk injury to Betty? Betty has already said she isn't interested. I think there's an upward age limit to who should be asked, and people in their 80's, no I don't think so; they try their hardest to please but could always risk injury. Not saying DWTS is only for the youngest, but I feel it's too much for the most senior of our citizens.

Betty is a smart women! She should definitely NOT do dancing! That show would only make a laughing stock of her. That shouldn't be one of the last things we remember her doing. Love you, Betty! Don't do it!

I loved The Golden Girls, so she'd be great on DWTS! I wish they'd have tryouts for more stay at home mom's, I bet I could beat Kate any day. Why doesn't the show ask Fran Dresher?

Anyone, everyone, with or without dance training could beat Kate. She had no right to ever be on the show the same as many many mnay of the other stars they have had on over the years. I used to really enjoy the show and actually because the quality has gone down so much over the past years I rarely watch it anymore. Just another ratings grabber.
Another one they need to get rid of is Bruno. I am so sick of his overly dramatic critques of the dances. Sit down, speak like anormal human being and do your job. Another reason to stear clean of the show.

Too much to ask of someone her age. Buzz was apparently in excellent physical shape, but still looked stiff as a board attempting to dance. Cloris was pretty awkward looking,too. Too many young strong people have been injured doing this. Let's not risk any more of these treasured seniors.

Please, Please, Please ABC do not disgrace these talented wonderful people by making a spectacle of them on DWTS. It is so painful to have to sit and watch the seniors struggle through the dances to do moves that their bodies are no longer limber enough or capable of doing. Do not use these people just to try and gain ratings. I for one would definitely give up watching the show if you continue this practice.

I am 39 and enjoyed watching Buzz. IMO, he moved more than Kate! I made a joke to my friend that while Kate was dancing she was probably wondering what the kids were eating at home ( organic or regular! )!

I agree with you 110%. Stop humiliating people just to pick up some ratings. These people are talented in ways that have entertained people for years and years. Do not put them through this to only have them end up going home without any chance in hell of ever winning in the first place. On top of that, do not put that kind of pressure on your "dance pros" either. How would you like to be the pro matched up with Cloris Leachman, Buzz Aldrin or any of the other ratings grabbers that you've enlisted over the past seasons knowing that there is no way in hell that you will ever make it to the semifinals let alone the finals. You know from the beginning that you will be voted off sooner than later so why even attempt to put on a good show to begin with. It is not fair to the the "Star". It is not fair to the "Pro" and it is not fair to the viewrs to be sujected to this idiocy.
