Erin Andrews Wants to Win 'DWTS' to Spite Elisabeth

Erin Andrews was never the favorite to win 'Dancing With The Stars,' generally always trailing behind Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger and Olympic Gold Medal winner Evan Lysacek. However, all that changed last week when 'The View' host Elisabeth Hasselbeck made some very controversial comments regarding Erin's costumes and her stalker.

"The irony is that Elisabeth has single-handedly united everyone in America behind Erin," said a 'Dancing' insider. "Elisabeth's comments have not only made Erin more determined to win, but have also given every woman in America who has ever been made fun of because of what they wear or how they look a champion."

And it's not just show insiders who feel that way. Following my story detailing how Barbara Walters made Elisabeth apologize on-air to Erin, I received hundreds of comments and e-mails that overwhelmingly supported Erin.

Helene Harris from Valley Stream, NY, summed up the feeling best, e-mailing me: "I'm determined to throw my support behind Erin on 'DWTS.' She is a beautiful, talented woman who has been maligned by an ignorant Elisabeth Hasselbeck. (Who incidentally wore a hell of a lot less in her stint on 'Survivor.')"

The vast majority of e-mails I got from men also supported Erin. Gregory Littley told me, "Elisabeth once again showcased her inability for compassion by attempting to make light of Erin's past legal problems with a stalker. Out of sheer spite to Elisabeth, I'd like to see Erin walk away from the competition with that trophy."

I suggest that Elisabeth doesn't watch 'Dancing' tonight, because sources tell me Erin has no intention of covering up any more than the men do to please dear Elisabeth. And if she does go on to win the whole thing, expect her to be celebrating on 'Regis and Kelly' rather than 'The View.'

Elisabeth is very jealous of Erin. Erin is a beautiful person, inside and outside, has a lovely personally, and is able to dance with a beautiful, sexy, hunch of a man. You go Max and Erin!!! We are voting for you all the way!!!

I find this woman's story very questionable how does one go into a hotel room and NOT notice that there's a peep hole attachement from the door lying on the floor pushed out from the other side ?

HOw did she not notice that there were also flakes or something on the floor that resulted from the drilling ?

Everytime I stay in a hotel room I check the entire room for anything and sometimes I find stuff nothing that would warrent calling the hotel front desk .

But I do find this woman questionable and her actions on this show shows me just that ...shes out there trying to get recognised not just for ESPN reporting ( if you wanna call it that )just like that other chic from PA that couldnt dance but knows how to use her children to make money !

James, I agree wholeheartedly with you! How could she not notice anything? She's a reporter?? Aren't they pretty alert to what is going on around them?!

Personally, I can't stand the "toothpick". Everyone knows DWTS is "has-beens". I had never heard of the woman until the stalker incident. And her partner is nothing but a spoiled, poor loser little boy. And, now the public may vote her in as the winner on this show - I thought it was all about being the best dancer??

Okay, Elisabeth shouldn't have said what she did but she did have a point about Erin (and the rest of the women, too) wearing next to nothing. On top of this, the woman is TOO skinny to be sexy. Just my opinion.

I was "lucky" to see Erin through her peep hole on a website, early on. I thought it rather odd she was standing in front of the mirror, turning sideways to check her bottom out in the mirror. Repeatedly. It almost looked like she was posing for a photo. I am one of those who would not have noticed anything out of place in a hotel room. Just not observant I guess. She has a great body and believe me, she knows it!

That's true, I never heard of her before she was peeped on, and I still never remember he name. Unless I see it in conjunction with the story, I wouldn't know who she was. I don't watch DWTS either. I did see it when Melissa Jone Hart was on there, because I just love her. But even then I just pulled it up on the Net.
