Jill Zarin Sorry for Goofing Bethenny Baby News

'Real Housewives of New York' star Jill Zarin has apologized for accidentally breaking the news of the birth of co-star Bethenny Frankel's new baby girl and for getting the baby's gender wrong, NY Daily News reports.

"Yesterday [my daughter] read a tweet and blog that Bethenny gave birth," Bethenny's famous frenemy posted Saturday on Facebook. "We were excited and congratulated her obviously prematurely. I should have waited until B announced it herself. Sorry."

Zarin's original message, which seemed genuinely thoughtful and congratulatory, ended up inciting drama among Bethenny's fans. "Heard Bethenny had a baby boy," Zarin wrote on Facebook. "So happy for her and Jason. So happy for them." But at the time this was posted, Bethenny was still in labor with a baby girl.

"Hundreds and hundreds of people were attacking Jill on Facebook, Twitter -- even on her own fan-page -- for announcing the birth of Bethenny's baby before she did," a source told the Daily News. "They were calling her a 'loudmouth,' and saying B was right -- she did need to get a hobby!"

But Zarin wasn't the only one to spill the beans. The tweet she mentioned in her apology most likely refers to fellow 'Housewives' star Ramona Singer, who tweeted about the exciting news hours before. "OMG at the airport. & just spoke to @bethenny...she's in the hospital having the baby!!!!!!!"

Zarin, however, is the one getting all the blame -- probably because of her rocky relationship with Frankel.

"Everyone is lashing out at Jill because of what they see on television -- but in reality, if it had been any of the other 'Housewives' who had made the mistake Jill did, no one would blink an eye," said the source. "Bethenny has complained in the past Jill just can't be happy for her, but she's obviously making the effort."

Co-star Alex McCord doesn't think Zarin can salvage her friendship with Bethenny, no matter how many nice Facebook messages she posts. "I wish I could say I can see them being friends again, but I don't think it's going to happen," she told E! last week. "There's so much going on between Jill and Bethenny. You don't see 80 percent of it on camera."

You know know what, be done with her mind your own business and GET A FREAKIN HOBBY. Why dont you help the countess find a man!!! That guy she was with on the last episode was SCARY!!!!!

pb, you are so right! Jill wants so much to still be a part of Bethenny's life, that she puts herself in it where ever she can. She knows how bad she screwed up when she told B that they were through and no longer friends. And the fact that she was getting mad because Alex delivered the message from Bethenny that she was also done, is just too much. She was the one that played that message from Bethenny to anyone that would listen. Then when the shoe is on the other foot, it was wrong, and Alex shouldn't have done it in front of everyone. Well Jill, everyone there who heard what Alex said, were also the ones that you played that message for. So get over it, and if you want to set things right, got to Bethenny on your knees and ask for forgiveness! And please, please leave that big mouth Lu Ann and Kelly out of this, they are nothing but trouble makers!

Bethany is such a drama queen. If she's not fighting with Jill, then she fights with Kelly. I never seen a person with so much drama in their life. She needs to go on Prozac or something. I can't stand to watch this show anymore, and that ROMoana, bug eyes, she is the worse!!!

If memory serves me correctly, Jill's daughter has juvenile arthritis & is on steriods. They are contributing to her weight gain, and she has little control over what steroids do to her body. She can choose pain or weight gain, poor girl. She is a beautiful sweet girl & you should not diss her for something her mother does.

Actually, Ramona did not "spill the beans" she merely announced that B was in labor. Shill Zarin did not read it in a blog, or hear it from her daughter, the only one that posted that B had a baby boy was Shill herself.

It was not her place to announce the birth of B's child. The fact that she had the date and gender wrong speaks volumes about Shill's credibility. Leave it to Shill to throw her own daughter under the bus.
