TV's Highest-Paid Kid Actors (Surprise! Miley Cyrus Isn't No. 1)

The highest-paid child actor on TV doesn't star on a Disney Channel show. Nor does he headline one of Nickelodeon's many kid-friendly programs. The highest paid child actor on TV actually stars on the CBS hit show, 'Two and a Half Men.' His name is Angus T. Jones and he makes a whopping $250,000 per episode.
Earlier today, the
New York Post revealed their list of the top 10 highest-paid kid actors on television today. After polling talent agents, casting agents, and other TV execs, they narrowed down TV's richest mini-moguls.
Surprisingly, Miley Cyrus didn't even make the top five. Though her franchise and 'Hannah Montana' namesake are worth millions (some even estimate a full billion), she's not making large chunks of change from her TV show. In fact, Cyrus makes around $15,000 an episode--landing her #6 on the list.
The second highest paid child actor on TV is Miranda Cosgrove, the star of hit Nickelodeon show 'iCarly.' This young lady makes roughly $160,000 an episode.
But after Jones and Cosgrove, there's a pretty big gap in salary for the rest of the list. The remaining eight actors make between $12,000 - $20,000 an episode. Not too shabby but certainly not in the same ballpark as Jones and Cosgrove.
Here is the rest of the list:
1. Angus T. Jones, 16

I see... a seven eleven... I see... a young ex-actor in his/her 20's shambling in, dangling a gun from his/her wasted wrist... oh please get these kids therapy, put their money away where they can't waste it on crap, and give them something productive to do with themselves after their shows are cancelled. Paging Mayim Bialik!!!

I'm not surprised angus makes that much. He's a great actor!! And really Miley's career has basically gone down the toilet. Pole dancing, dating a 20 year old, cussing in her songs... Who does she think she is? She's only 17 yet she's the next Britney Spears. No hating but hey. I'm not surprised by Miranda's salary, ICarly is very popular and I love it! it makes me a kid again.

If Charlie Sheen is make nearly 2 million per episode, Angus should be making much more than he is. Seems like that kid has been around forever...he has been in some really great movies in his short life. He's a great actor!

With all these kids making SO MUCH money, the temptation to just go crazy is there. Let's hope that these kids can keep their heads on straight, and not end up like Lindsay Lohan.

Two and a Half Men is one of the most popular shows on television, explaining why Angus T. Jones, who though a teen, works very hard at his job, gets paid so much. His life is that show, when you think about it, (and that goes for any television actor) he doesn't go to regualr school, but he most likely has a tutor that teaches him his subjects in any spare time he has. ICarly is also a very popular show, and it is definaetly one of the most popular shows on Nickelodeon, which explains her salary. The reason Nick can pay Miranda that much and Disney can't pay their stars half as much is because, if you look at the list, disney has 5 stars on it (miley, dylan, cole, selena and demi), which Nick has two (keke and miranda). Demi is payed the least because her show is the newest and is less popular. Miley is payed less than Selena Cole and Dylan because her show is also less popular, though it may be older. Wizards of Waverly Place and The Suite Life/The Suite Life on Deck, and the two most popular shows on Disney Channel. That's why they get payed more. (Also, the contracts may differ)
