Warrant's Jani Lane in Second DUI Arrest in a Year

Not to be outdone by fellow hair band-er Bret Michaels -- the ailing Poison frontman in the headlines daily -- Warrant singer and sometimes-reality star Jani Lane has found his way back in the news this week after scoring his second DUI arrest in a year.

The Los Angeles Police Department tells TMZ that Lane, 46, was arrested Sunday evening in Woodland Hills, Calif., after he allegedly rammed his car into a parked vehicle, mangling his ride in the process. No injuries were reported.

Officers arrived on the scene and Lane badly failed sobriety and breathalyzer tests -- he reportedly blew more than twice the state's legal limit of .08. He is currently in custody. According to TMZ, Lane was arrested by the same officer that took him in last June.

In that incident, the rocker also hit a parked car. He pleaded no contest to misdemeanor DUI a month later, and was put on probation for three years.

Warrant was one of the most commercially popular bands in their day, racking up hits like 'Down Boys' and 'Heaven.' But their biggest success came with the campy and brazenly sexist video for 1990's 'Cherry Pie.'

A bloated, sauced and generally downtrodden Lane appeared on the 2005 season of VH1's 'Celebrity Fit Club.' After cleaning up his act, Lane reunited with Warrant, only to leave the group again in 2008.

When will this guy grow up? He's 46 not 26! Those were the days back in the 80's and early 90's.. Fun times! But we ALL get older and move on. Drinking and driving is stupid at any age but even worse when your middleage and should know better by now! Get a taxi, call a friend. Selfish jerks drive drunk.

I never heard of these guys, or this lame song. Admittedly, I wasn't paying much attention to "rock and roll" in the 1980's. Doesn't sound like I missed much. Second DUI in a year? Throw his butt in jail before he kills someone.

QJani rocks hard. He is the greatest song writer in the history of the world buy the album dog eat dog and actually read the words and listen to the songs and you will see what i am talking about he wrote every song on that album and every song is incredible. too bad that Hair metal ended due to nirvana and grunge at that same time or else warrant would be the biggest and best of all time if that wouldve gotten airplay. Jani I don't know what your going through but i bet it is rough I am praying for you and you will always be my FAVORITE YOU ROCK MICHEAL TURNER
