Larry King and Shawn Southwick Call Off Divorce

Call it a happy Hollywood ending, as Larry King and his seventh wife, Shawn Southwick, have officially called off their divorce, with the 76-year-old CNN host moving out of a hotel and back into the family home, his spokesman said on Tuesday.

"They have stopped the divorce proceedings," spokesman Howard Rubenstein told Reuters. "He has moved back home."

The couple, who both had cited irreconcilable differences, were back together this week.

"We love our children, we love each other, we love being a family. That is all that matters to us," the couple said in a joint statement. "We owe it to ourselves and our children to continue being dedicated to each other. We want to thank our friends for their loyal love and support -- for being there for us."

Earlier in the day, there were reports the couple had postponed the deadline for their divorce for a third time. Just last week, King, 76, and Southwick, 50, both were still undecided about whether or not their marriage could be saved--and asked for an extension to a previously set deadline. Tuesday was decision day.

Southwick originally filed for divorce in April after hearing of an affair between King and her sister, Shannon Engemann, 47. Within minutes, King also filed for divorce, citing infidelity as well. (Southwick was accused of having an affair in 2007 with their sons' baseball coach.)

But Engemann told the Daily News Tuesday they've worked through everything. "It was just a lot of misunderstanding and jumping to conclusions," said Engemann. "Shawn and I spoke, and we're getting along great. We love each other very much. She's very clear on everything now."

It definitely seems like the King and Southwick aren't too eager to wrap up their almost 13-year long marriage. The two have recently shared loving hugs at their sons' baseball games and even attended marriage counseling.

Just how stupid do they believe the American consumer is? I guess this stupid. Does no one read between the lines. Larry King has to save face. So, he will pretend to divorce/ not divorce, etc. Her sister is part of the IMAGE SPIN. This is allllllllllllll orchestrated by the spin doctors. Let's disappoint by not caring.

Kate Hudson would be nothing if she weren't the daughter of Goldie Hawn. She isn't pretty and has a shape just like her mom, which isn't great. Hudson being able to get in movies is strictly nepotism, as with many children of past stars.

I think Shawn Southwick should just grin and bear it for a couple more years till that old geezer relic Larry King decides to lie down. As it is, he's like "dead man walking"! Yuck!! Good heavens, how that young beautiful woman can stand that old fossil touching her, or even living in the same house, eeewww!!
