Redmond O'Neal, the 25-year-old son of Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O'Neal, has been released from a drug rehabilitation center and moved to a sober living environment, PEOPLE reports. In addition to granting the move, the judge on the case, L.A. Superior Court Judge Michael Tynan, also praised O'Neal for his "excellent progress" and "positive" decisions over the course of the last several months.

O'Neal was moved from jail to the Impact Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center in Pasadena, Calif. last September for a one-year residential program. After just a few months there, he was arrested for drugs while on a 24-hour leave from the center.
After spending a month in back in jail, he was put on probation and returned to rehab. At the time, Judge Tynan said if he successfully completed the rehabilitation program, he would be moved to a sober living environment.
