Ashton Kutcher Calls Wife a 'Genetic Freak,' Swears He's a 'Normal Guy'
Ashton Kutcher is one giant contradiction. When you think of the 32-year-old actor, you probably recall his turns as dopey pretty-boys in 'That '70s Show' and 'Dude, Where's My Car?' But did you know he's one of the most prolific users of social media -- Twitter, Facebook, etc. -- and even owns a successful, multi-platform media company, Katalyst? That his social media use landed him on Time magazine's list of the 100 most influential people on the planet? That he has been a producer on 12 different TV shows in the last five years?
In an
interview with ABC's Cynthia McFadden, Kutcher talks about his double life as an actor/celebrity Twitter all-star, his wife Demi Moore, having children and how normal he is (hint: he isn't).
McFadden asks Kutcher about whether he would like to have biological
children with his now 47-year-old wife. "I don't know," he replies. "It's I don't know."
When the interviewer reminds the star that his wife's biological clock is, well, probably winding down, he quickly retorts, "I think my wife is a genetic freak ... I'm not worried."
Kutcher has become a second father to Moore's three daughters with ex-husband Bruce Willis, the youngest of which just turned 16. "There is something attractive about our third girl gaining some independence. I get to walk the dogs in the morning because she can drive herself to school now," he says. "There is a level of independence that we've never had since our relationship started, and an ability to spend time together doing things that we might want to take advantage of, because in our relationship we've always had kids."
Moore's oldest daughter, actress Rumor Willis, who will turn 22 in August, is just ten years Kutcher's junior.
McFadden also gets Kutcher to discuss his one-time fiancée Britney Murphy, who tragically
passed away in December at age 32. "You know when you go to a party and everybody is standing around, and the music is going, and you know, sooner or later everyone is going to dance," he says. "She was always the first person to dance. And I just try to connect to that and celebrate who she was and how she was, and not make sense of it, 'cause there is no sense of making sense of it."
Kutcher goes to great lengths to convince McFadden that he is a "normal guy" who just wants to "go fishing." Discussing his new movie, he says, "It's a movie about a guy fighting to be a normal guy, just a normal guy ... I'm fighting the same fight. Social media for me and my wife is about saying to people, I'm a normal guy, I have my wife, we have a regular relationship."
His definition of "normal" is a bit different than most people's, it seems. When asked what his greatest extravagance was, Kutcher says, "Neither Demi or I cook. I have someone that cooks for me ... that's the best thing ever. I just want to show up and I want my house to be like a hotel ... so I want to have a couple of options. ... I like to have a couple of options."
A private chef -- that's about as normal as it gets.

Demi is a Genetic Freak....and good for her! How many women look that good at 47? Of course, she's a work out freak, as well...but it sure works for her! Go, Girl!

lets see Demi without makeup. Im sure she looks 47
Demi should look good. She's had quite a lot of cosmetic surgery.
More like a cosmetic surgery addict. She probably has more spare parts than Michael Jackson did. And,
Demi...I envy you..he is a sweetie...You make all women proud!

Speak for yourself, Bernadette. I personally think he's a bit goofy.
If they want children they need to put some of his little swimmers in a petrie dish with some of her little eggs, create an embryo and hire a surrogate. It's not just an issue of having a baby before it's too late to have their own child, but it's also a MAJOR issue of having the energy to start all over again. I don't care if the woman IS a genetic freak, genetic freaks still get tired and will still be teaching a 16-year-old to drive when they're 66-years-old, and well, you get the picture.
They want a baby and I want them to have a baby, but the matter of practicality IS at hand!

@Angie:- Problem is the eggs - or lack thereof - that presents the babymaking dilemma here. It's the age-old story. The guy has no problem producing "swimmers". The lady - well - the clock goes tick tick tic ti t...! But I do wish them well. They seem to be a happy couple.
the usual cut off for children is 38 but 47 are you kidding? Maybe adoption but a child born that late would have problems.

I had my daughter at 41. Good thing I didn't think about the age thing. She is the joy of my life.
A friend -- who's a doctor and certainly knew the risks -- had her youngest at age 50, and he's perfectly fine.
that is the dumbest thing I have ever heard
Women are having children later than 38 every day
get your facts before you talk nonsense
and everyone....quit being so mean....maybe he just
loves his wife and I think she's pretty gorgeous & successful
So, guess the two of them are laughing all the way to the
bank
She probably doesn't want to have kids at 47--First of all, she is in great shape (whether she works hard at it, had plastic surgery or both). I doubt she would return to her present body after having a baby at 47 and we all know Hollywood is all about image..She barely has a work now, another baby would be the nail in her coffin (work wise) except for The National Inquirer.

Kutcher and Moore are perfect for each other two narcissistic, vacuous no talents.

To seavet1...I agree with you!
Wow, Glad I am not the only one that has that opinion of these two. They need to just go away, they are annoying with their righteous blogging, twitting and Oedipus relationship.

Bruce's wife is 33 and he is 55. Why doesn't anyone call their relationship weird. I guess it's ok for a man to marry someone young enough to be his daughter.
Kutcher strikes me as a juvenile junior high student. His wife is old enough to be his mother for god's sake! I don't care how good she looks she's still too old for him or any other person like him.
