Yesterday, TMZ unveiled video of Miley Cyrus dirty dancing at last summer's wrap party for her most recent flick, 'The Last Song.' The video shows the pop star giving the movie's producer, 44-year-old Adam Shankman, a pretty intense lap dance. And today, TMZ caught up with her dad to get his thoughts on his daughter's graphic dance moves.The video shows openly gay Shankman grinding up against Cyrus with a drink in hand. It was even reported that several people left the party after the dance display because they felt uncomfortable or had small children with them. Cyrus' parents were not in attendance.

I hate to break it to everyone but this is the type of dancing all your kids do at dances... Trust me I was a teen not too long ago. No matter how sweet and innocent your kid is, we all dance like this. Maybe not on old men, but hey ur still dancing a little too hoochie. But really the dudes gay... wth.

I was a teen not too long ago as well and I never danced like that.....not every teen dances like that. A teen has to be raised with morals. It's SAD that people look at the youth of today and say "oh well its just what teens do" Parents need to wake up and open their eyes and raise their kids right otherwise nothing is going to change. We need to look at ourselves first and how we raise our kids before we start judging someone else.
Is he serious, it may be what some kids her age do, but should they be doing it is the next question. Where are the parents these days. Kids need stricter rules to follow and to take more responsibility for their actions. I'm a mother of 3, my oldest is 15. She would not act like this. She has more respect for herself than that. Also I would kick that producer or director's butt if I knew he was enjoying it and playin along with a 16 yr old girl rubbing all up on him. This is plain distasteful!! Billy Ray, you need to look at the big picture and instill some manners and proper behavior into your out of control daughter. She is 16 living like she is 25. Something bad is gonna happen if you don't take control.

If this unfortunate, misdirected young girl had ever had a parent worth shooting, she would have been stopped some time ago when she posed in unacceptably provocative photos and no one had the sense to intervene. How old was she then....12 or 13? I feel sorry for her and nothing but contempt for Mr. Achy Breaky. Frankly, the entire thing sickens me and I think we have no reason to expect better of him. WHERE IN THE WORLD IS HER MOTHER????? Can they not see what happens to these young "starlets" allowed to run amok? Miley is a mediocre singer, medicore actress and who is 'cute', not a raving beauty. When this flash in the pan runs into real talent and has not developed any character, where in the world will she end up? (By the way, that's the same degree of talent her father possesses and now he is having ride her coat tails>) It scares me for her. I certainly hope her generation finds a better role model because she is headed for ruin.

Billy Ray - I hate to burst your bubble, but 17 year olds do not lap dance as a hobby - just your daughter! What kind of father are you? Most fathers discourage their daughters from engaging in such behavior, however you encourage it. I am sorry, but that is just wrong. I am so glad that my daughter is only 4, and will not look to Miley as a role model.

I think this is just unbelievable.I have a daughter and we both LOVED in the past tense, this girl...My daughter won't be listening to her music anymore, nor will she be watching her movies or the reruns of her show. Shame on you, Billy Ray, shame on you... My husband would beat the crap out of my daughter and as for that guy, he would die with my husband's size 12-13 all up and down his backside!!!!!!

It is interesting to see how MANY PEOPLE still have minds focused on the DARK AGES. Let me State this clearly, THERE is NOTHING dirty about ANY dance. Dance is a human means of expressing emotion (e.g. joy, happiness, sorrow, etc.). The same as wearing a bikini DOES NOT by itself imply something dirty. It’s what the viewer holds in their HEART. God gave dance as a beautiful means of expression. God DID NOT CREATE ANYTHING dirty. As Jesus has told us in so many ways, “It is what is in the heart and mind of the beholder” that matters. The parents present failed in THEIR role as parents by not explaining the origin of the dance and that it was meant to be fun. Children by themselves DO NOT see things as dirty or clean, they see them as being just what they are meant to be, a physical expression of fun. The notion that what a person wears or does may cause me to have bad thoughts is SO PREHISTORIC IT cannot be addressed. God bless you Miley for loving life and all that GOD has provided us.

It's no wonder these Hollywood youngsters are so screwed up and have no morals, they have idiotic parents with no morals or values. My teenage daughter better not be doing anything like this. I am sick of these parents pimping out their children because they can't find success on their own, the sad thing 99% are not even talented, or they reduce to Reality TV. Get a life and a real job and keep an eye on your young kids, before it's to late.....

And I question why she is always out alone, without any parents present. Just to pop up the next day in the tabloids for another scandal, another picture, another video. He'll continue saying "its just what people her age do" until she has a sex tape out. I'm not much older than she is, I have never and would never do have the stuff this girl has done and has been allowed to do. I have respect for myself and others around me.

this just proves what ive thought of all along, billy rae is a horrible father, no father i know would think this behavor is ok, there are other ways a teenage girl can have fun dancing what a discrace ..i foresee big trouble for miley in the future,she needs to clean up her act..alot of young girls look up to her,where is her mother? does she approve? it seems daddy is pimping his daughter..just for fame and fortune...these people are losiers ,trash...
