Will Miley Cyrus Become the Next Lindsay Lohan?

Miley Cyrus' recent sexy music video, followed by the release of footage of her grinding with a 40-plus-year-old man, hasn't just upset her fans -- it's also worried industry big-wigs.

"Everyone in Hollywood is worried that Miley is on the path to becoming the next Lindsay Lohan," confessed a Hollywood casting agent. "It's the oldest story in showbiz -- when child star grows up and loses his or her entire fan base. For every Jodie Foster that exists, so does a Gary Coleman." Friends of Miley tell me she is sick of being seen as squeaky clean Hannah Montana and can't wait to be more like her real self, while no-one in Miley's inner circle, including both of her parents, dares warn her about such an extreme reinvention.

However, one person who is happy to give Miley advice is the original teen queen, Deborah Gibson. "I adore Miley and think she's an amazing talent! But it's hard to have somewhere to go when you rush the growing up process," she tells me. "That's not to say she shouldn't show her sexuality if she's comfortable with it, but there's a sense of 'playing dress up' when it's so extreme."

I agree with Deb on this, Miley. Take your time deciding who you want to grow up to be. Your decisions will start defining you.

Former Bond Girl Says Angelina Isn't Right for the Role

At my friend Teri Hatcher's party last night, I was surprised when the normally on-message star told me outright that Angelina Jolie wouldn't be right to play the part of a Bond girl.

Teri, who played the part of Paris Carver in the 007 flick ' Tomorrow Never Dies' in 1997, told me, "I don't really know the young girls," when I asked her who should be the next Bond girl, but said "no" when I asked if it should be Angelina. "A Bond girl should be about both the body and the brain," Teri said.

Not wanting to upset my host, I didn't ask which Angelina was lacking!

Like many of the kids begat by famous celebs, this little pop tart is heading for disaster. Her parents must be proud of the way she exhibits herself over the Internet. Show business has always exploited everything from dogs to kids and on; now the media makes its money by doing the same thing to these kids. Cut the BS about Cyrus and she might get her rudder back; she is hardly a talent after all said and done.

The people that are supposedly worried about her are the ones making it all happen. Miley is always surrounded by adults and she listens to their advice. They are the ones that work with her on her dance moves and that guy she was grinding on was the director of her last movie. The blame lies with people like him. Miley would be better off with people her age than these nasty showbiz adults.

What ever happened to morals, standards, disipline, and respect, for ones self, and others? It surely is not being taught to this girl, and many others. When I was young, these are the things my father taught my brothers and I. Not disgussed a few times, it was a daily thing in our home.
I feel badly for anyone who missed these lessons. They are the basics, and never to be over looked.
I used to take up for Miley, but after the tape I saw on here yesterday,,Miley and a 44 year old man 'dirty dancing.' It was almost unbelievable to me that any parent, would allow their 16 year old to dance that way with A GROWN MAN. Or even another 16 year old. It was wrong in every way.
The only people who would take up for that kind of behavior, is the very ones that were not taught the basics in the first place.

Miley won't be the next LiLo. She will be where Lindsay is today at 23, much earlier in her life. Miley was taking semi-nude pics at 15, and publishing them, and who knows what else she has been doing with little or no supervision at all.
Lindsay at least waited to be 18 to start screwing up her life.

I think that we should give Miley credit for staying away from drugs and sleeping around. She is talented, beautiful, and driven. Not everyone is freaked out about sexuality, and it was her gay stylist who she is close with at a private party.

I don't even listen to her songs or watch her shows/movies, but I think people are too quick to jump on this talented young gal.

the drugs and drinking has just not yet been formally reported. It's been said she does drink and was drunk while lap dancing her 44 year old man/producer. And as far as sleeping around - it seems pretty evident that she is sleeping with this boyfriend & by the way she has behaved since she was around 14 it would be a good bet that he is not the first and sadly some of them seem to live under the cyrus roof when they are dating her (parental approval?) Well if Daddy gave his blessing to her lap dance with Shankman it's a good bet she has parental approval for all her behaviour. this girl will be worse that Lindsey before she reaches Lindsey's age.

I said that she is not into drugs, I'm sure she has had drinks... I understand that @ 17 she is underage but at 17 I drank in safe and controlled environments, and I turned out fine. As for the drugs... how do you know she is doing drugs? Really, how do you? As for turning out like Lindsay Lohan.. again, how DO you know?

There is nothing wrong with teenage girls having boyfriends and doing so is a far cry from being promiscuous. Promiscuity is sleeping with several people you dont' care about, and Miley is not doing that.

It seems that people believe that 17 year-olds should think and behave like 7-year-olds. I was raised in a moral, stable household by loving parents, one of whom was a high school teacher who was not blind to teen ways, and was open and talked abotu consequences. I dabbled in boys and drinking as a teen (NOT drugs) and hey I graduated from university and have turned out just fine. I strongly think that people need to open their eyes and lighten up.

Last, how is bashing Miley and saying cruel things about her a moral and respectable act? Judge yourselves instead.

They thought that being her "Friends" was more important than the way they or the rest of us Christians were raised..... With a Firm hand and Morals...
