Claudia Schiffer Welcomes Baby Girl

Supermodel Claudia Schiffer gave birth to a baby girl yesterday in London, PEOPLE has confirmed.

The baby, whose name was not revealed, was delivered at London's Portland Hospital. The name will be announced next week, according to German newspaper Welt am Sonntag.

This is the 39-year-old beauty's third child with husband Matthew Vaughn. Their son, Caspar, and daughter, Clementine, are ages seven and five, respectively.

Vaughn, a film producer and director, was the man behind this year's critically acclaimed 'Kick-Ass.'

The couple announced their pregnancy in January.

congrats to Claudia Matthew Casper & Clementine on the arrival of the lattest addition to the family can wait to see what name claudia and Matt Chose for their little girl

I'm guessing Chloe which goes really well with Casper and Clementine if they chose to stay with the C theme

Law & Order is extremely well written and I will miss any part of it. There are so few shows on television now that deserve any honor. I am older but still appreciate good T.V. I still watch Will & Grace, Frazier and Law & Order. Thanks for the entertainment. Mash was also one of my favorites. Appreciate good writing.

please women have had normal healthy kids at Claudia's age for decades for example academy award winning actress Patricia Neal had her 5th child at 39 august 4th 1965 six months after surviving a series of strokes while pregnant and that her 4th daughter Lucy turned out perfectly

39 is too old to be bearing children. Middle-aged women put themselves and their babies at risk by getting pregnant at such a late age. Bearing children at middle-age, especially if it's the first pregnancy, increases a woman's chance of getting breast cancer. And children born to older women have a greater risk of being born with autism and other psychological abnormalities. If you're past 35 put on the brakes to bearing children.

not neccessarily true Pat Neal had her 5th child at Claudia's age and the baby turned out perfect which was a miracle in itself as she had survived a series of strokes while pregnant which meant she and the baby her & then husband Roald Dahl's 4th daughter Lucy could have died or the baby could've been born disabled and wasn't thankfully so stop making a big deal about Claudia having her 3rd child at 39 it's not
