Kate Gosselin's 'DWTS' Return a Gift and a Curse?

Kate Gosselin might be excited about her return to the 'Dancing With the Stars' finale on May 24 and 25, however, other cast members are not so thrilled. Insiders, who know the ropes behind the hit competition, tell me that while Kate's return will likely bring in monster ratings, it is also bringing sneers and jeers from other competitors, who didn't exactly get along swimmingly with the octomom.

"Everyone, especially Kate's old dancing partner Tony, are dreading the return of Gosselin to the dance floor," one insider told me. "Kate comes with a lot of drama. She's the only celebrity who insisted on having a bodyguard with her at all times and put the costume department through hell each week. She tortured Tony and you don't even want to know what she put the show's hairdressers through! The day Kate was voted off, everyone was celebrating backstage. It's been a lot less toxic without her."

However, one group that is looking forward to Kate returning is the bigwigs at ABC, who only care about that Kate is ratings gold.

"Since Kate left the show, ratings plummeted to the lowest performance of the season. Down a full 17 percent just two weeks after Kate was ousted," an ABC executive tells me. "You have to remember that at the end of the day, ABC cares about ratings -- not transforming Kate Gosselin into Miss Congeniality."

I'm not sure if it's good Kate or bad Kate that's going to show up next week, but I can tell you this -- no matter which Kate it is, we are ALL going to be watching.

Dear Katesupporter, We read the articles about Kate, so we can all rejoice when they tell us she has had her children taken away or she has (oh, the horror) gotten a JOB, or she has told the world she is going to go back to her million dollar mansion in PA and quietly raise her children. You see dear Kate supporter...hope springs eternal for those of us who recognize a fame hog when we see one.

Yes, SARAHH2011, the haters must be so jealous that they are in some sort of a FRENZIE, like SHARKS when they notice blood. I have never witnesses so much hatred in my lifetime. Some lunatic wrote that she will continue to hate Kate until "her children are taken away," or "until she gets a job" !!!!!!! She has EIGHT LITTLE CHILDREN, why and HOW the F would/could she get a job? I'd love to see how many children all of these haters have raised... and HOW THEY LOOK, too, as I would tend to guess that not one single hater is attractive or has ANY MEANS.

The ratings were up because everyone was waitint to see how she reacted when she got rated off. Not because anyone liked her. She is an obnoxious person, and thinks she is all that. She was a wreck from start to finish. You could feel the tension right off the screen with her and Tony. I have been watching this show from the beginning and I have never seen anyone like her on there and hopefully won't see her again. Her Diva attitude, not to mention her being mean and arrogant, was not even worth watching. I was soooo happy to see her go and it took longer than it should've. Oh and the turn on with the tears was even better when she thought it would garner sympathy, I give her that! You're 15 minutes are over Kate, now be graceful about it and go away! Just so you don't think it's just you people don't like, Jon isn't any better. You are both attention seeking manipulative money hogs with all your drama!

Hold on folks-The Finale of DWTS is going to have Monster Ratings BECAUSE it IS the FINALE and NOT because of Gosselin-So to think she is bringing in the ratings you are so WRONG-It is JUST BECAUSE OF THE FINALE-Not many people like KATE-Actually I hate Kate-she is a WITCH and it has been so nice watching the show WITHOUT Gosselin-AND everyone is so much more relaxed-it is obvious. Why Kate+8?
These children should not have to be entertainment for others. Kate is a terrible mom and is just plain greedy. Sell the house, put the kids in public school, stop tanning, pedicuring, etc, every few days and downsize the lifestyle so the kids can have a normal childhood.

I'm not a Kate fan, but some of the haters out there have the brains God gave a goose. Sell the house? Go back to work? Do any of you know how hard it would be to have 8 kids in a small house? I only have 2 kids and my 3 bed room house isn't nearly big enough sometimes. Do you know how much it would cost her in day care if she went back to being a nurse? So she has a show on TLC and writes books... I say good for her. She can work at home and be with her kids. BTW... I thought Kat was horrible on DWTS, I was glad to see her go, I just don't get why people bash her like they do.
