Charlie Sheen to Earn Nearly $2 Million Per Episode
Charlie Sheen will not only be staying on for two more seasons of 'Two and a Half Men,' the actor is getting a huge pay raise to the tune of nearly $2 million per episode, according to reports.
The deal, between Sheen's reps and Warner Bros. TV, was sealed Monday night and bumps his salary for the CBS comedy from $850,000 to between $1.8 - $1.9 million each episode,
Variety is reporting.
He was already the highest paid actor in primetime, but now he'll be getting about what Ray Romano received for the final season of 'Everybody Loves Raymond,' also a CBS show.
Sheen confirmed he was returning to the hit show in an earlier statement. "To put a fitting end on the two-and-one-half months of whirlwind speculation, I'm looking forward to returning to my CBS home on Monday nights," he said.
The actor had been hinting for months that he was going to leave the show, but the salary news hints heavily that he was just merely jockeying for a pay bump, despite his legal woes.
Meanwhile, the TV star is still facing felony menacing and misdemeanor assault charges, after allegedly attacking his wife, Brooke Mueller, on Christmas. Sheen hopes to make a deal in court.

Oh I just bet his wife will let him make a deal with no jail time! This way she'll get more support and alimony - or maybe she'll call off the divorce altogether. I happen to like Charlie despite him being a bad boy. Brooke knew what she was marrying - guess with her drug and booze problem she should have know better but she didn't. Good luck with everything Charlie.

I couldn't agree more. I could not image the show without him
I am so happy he is returning to the worst show on tv
and kenny chesney wrote a song called " The Good Stuff "
That statement does not seem to be even slightly grounded in fact. Every woman who dates a man who claims he is in a bad marriage truly believes the bad marriage is the wife's fault. I know my two stepmother's did, until my father managed to make them financially dependent on him. He would convince the women to give up their jobs and be charming as a prince in a fairytale, then, the minute they would have to totally rip apart their lives to get away from him, he was domineering, violent, and drunk. He would be so mentally and emotionally abusive they would turn into mental basket cases.
A lot of men do that. A lot of women, too, but in another way.
I am done watching that show even in reruns. I used to think it was funny, but in actuality, it glorifies being a selfish, narcissistic jerk.
There are men in this world who are neither Charlie nor Alan, neither of whom do I care to watch any longer.
HE SITS ON THE COUCH, SITS IN THE KITCHEN, HAS SEX WITH ANYTHING WITH A PULSE. HE IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY THEY PAY HIM. TOO BAD THE COUNTRY HAS GONE SO FAR DOWN HILL THAT HE IS CONSIDERED watchable. WE USED TO WATCH HIM BUT ANY REDEEMING VALUES WENT OUT THE WINDOW WHEN HE INFLUENCED HIS 1/2 MAN.
A BIG WASTE OF TV TIME! GET A NEW LIFE, CHUCKIE!
Awesome news. One of the best shows ever.

Yeah, if you happen to like humor written by and for your average high school underachiever then this show surely ranks up there with the best of them.
Charlie. you the man!!
I've seen about ten minutes of ths show and found it obscene. I look forward to seeing Sheen trying to act behind bars. There is no excuse for beating a woman.

You are 100% correct.
Oh yes there is!!!
There is no excuse to beat ANYONE!
theres a reason to hit anybody, just dont do it.
Sandy, so sorry that you are a prude
That goes both ways. Women can be very vile and abusive also. So if you don't want to be a punching bag don't push it!
Sandy, is there any excuse for a woman to hit a man
i will bet that now he is making 2 milllion per episode
that goldding wife of his will be more than happy to withdraw any charges because of a larger pay day
I wnder whether his wife even has the option of dropping charges. These days, it's not necessarily up to the victim depending on the jurisdiction, age of the victim, etc. Once charges are filed, some jurisdictions insist on following through which is a good thing. Some victims will file charges over and over or every time they get beat up, but then drop them when the beater 'convinces' them he's changed. Right.
It's a great day for the American working man. Every 'drug-, alcohol- and woman-abusing' man can now expect his employer to overlook his history of indecency and award him with a big fat bonus for a 'job well done'.
evie, your partially right. in some states even if a person wants not to press charges it is up to the discression of the DA.
however, try prosecuting a case like this where the wife wont press charges or retracts a statement.
the courts are loaded with real cases with real bad guys
and a Da would look like a fool for wasting the courts time
