Charlie Sheen to Earn Nearly $2 Million Per Episode

Charlie Sheen will not only be staying on for two more seasons of 'Two and a Half Men,' the actor is getting a huge pay raise to the tune of nearly $2 million per episode, according to reports.

The deal, between Sheen's reps and Warner Bros. TV, was sealed Monday night and bumps his salary for the CBS comedy from $850,000 to between $1.8 - $1.9 million each episode, Variety is reporting.

He was already the highest paid actor in primetime, but now he'll be getting about what Ray Romano received for the final season of 'Everybody Loves Raymond,' also a CBS show.

Sheen confirmed he was returning to the hit show in an earlier statement. "To put a fitting end on the two-and-one-half months of whirlwind speculation, I'm looking forward to returning to my CBS home on Monday nights," he said.

The actor had been hinting for months that he was going to leave the show, but the salary news hints heavily that he was just merely jockeying for a pay bump, despite his legal woes.

Meanwhile, the TV star is still facing felony menacing and misdemeanor assault charges, after allegedly attacking his wife, Brooke Mueller, on Christmas. Sheen hopes to make a deal in court.

Of course there is no excuse for hitting a woman, but it sound like you think his personal life and his job are one in the same. They are similar, any idiot can see that but what he does in private is between himself and in this case the authorities. Sure, Charlie Sheen is a bad boy who definitely has some issues, but the show makes so much money that the network not only pays him a huge salary, but are quite willing to take a gamble that his private life won't hold up the shows production. You can raise all the moral issues you want about Two and a half Men and Charlie Sheen, but sadly, like everything else in this world, it's all about money. Censorship is in the palm of your hand. If you don't like what your watching, change the channel.

I just started watching this show last season and it is hilarious. Charlie Sheen is pretty much playing himself and Jon Cryer got to keep his career. Do not watch a lot of TV but do look forward to Monday nights. 2 1/2 Men and Big Bang Theory make a Monday good.

Jon Cryer happens to be funnier than Sheen, even Berta is better than Sheen. Luckily he was "paired" with excellent people to play off his dry sense of humor.

I especially like the way Charlie has to drag all those "toys" kicking and screaking all the way. Why, they should just show him being arrested for rape. Don't be so dumb.

I used to like the show but i think it belittles women too much now. I also feel that the type of salary some people make is ridiculous! How much money does one person need?

Wow American has really gotten amazingly STUIPD!!!! I can't believe how many posts here say they actually LIKE this show!!! I have tried to watch the reruns of it that they show on the local channel here and ALWAYS turn it off after about 5 mins. People who like this show probably like watching their grandmother get an enema!!!

I dont like charlie at all, never have, never will. But the show is hilarious. Its the only funny show on tv now.
