Former 'Idol' Chris Daughtry, Wife Expecting Twins

Chris Daughtry is going to be a dad again.

On his Web site, the 'American Idol' rocker broke the news that he and wife Deanna Daughtry are expecting twins through a surrogate.

"Deanna and I are overjoyed about this double blessing. Thank you for your expressions of love and support and for respecting our privacy during this special time."

The couple used IVF to conceive the twins because Daughtry's wife had a partial hysterectomy four years ago.

The new babies will join older siblings Hannah and Griffin.

I too have twins (girls) who are grown up now. They were, and are, a joy! When they were born I already had 2 older children (a 6 yr. old and a 3 yr. old).

It was a lot of work but worth every minute!
