Pete Wentz's Son in Minor Car Accident in Los Angeles

Earlier today, Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz's young son Bronx was in a minor car accident in Los Angeles, PEOPLE reports. The 1½-year-old was unhurt and emergency services weren't called.

A nanny was driving a black Lexus in Coldwater Canyon when the fender bender occurred, RadarOnline.com reported from the scene.

After hearing about the accident, which took place near their home, Wentz and Simpson-Wentz rushed to the scene to pick up Bronx and bring him home.

The couple's rep told PEOPLE, "It was a minor fender-bender, and everyone is fine."

As news of the accident spread, Wentz turned to his Twitter to thank his fans for their support, "Thanks you guys for your concern. No one was hurt in the car accident and bx is currently back to building forts and hiding dads cell phone."

Bronx is the first and only child for Wentz and Simpson-Wentz. "We are very lucky and hope to have another child at some point," Wentz told PEOPLE earlier this year.
