'Single Ladies' Tots Are Back With More Sexy Dancing

'Single Ladies' girls; 'My Boyfriends Back' video

A very young precision dance troupe started quite a scandal last week when a YouTube video featuring a group of 7- and 8-year-old girls wearing midriff-baring tops and short skirts dancing to Beyonce's 'Single Ladies' hit the web. Although a World of Dance representative and the girls' own parents claimed the dance was "taken out of context," this isn't the first time these young dancers have caused a stir by acting grown up during dance competitions. Here, the girls perform 'My Boyfriend's Back' at the 2009 Hall of Fame Nationals:

According to YouTube, the 'My Boyfriend's Back' routine was choreographed by Dance Precisions' Molly Long. Dance Precisions' studio in Orange County, California, offers training in jazz, tap, ballet and hip hop for beginners to advanced dancers, ages 3 to 18 years. Representatives from the studio did not return a call for comment.

With nearly 2 million hits, the controversial 'Single Ladies' clip, taped at the World of Dance competition in Pomona, Calif., last month, has gone viral.

Melissa Presch, mother of one of the little dancers, told 'Inside Edition' that the girls got their moves from the 'Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel' -- not Beyonce's music video. But with this suggestive new footage from past competitions, eyebrows are still raised. But who is to blame?

Larry Peters, executive vice president of The Hozman Group and rep for the World of Dance competition, says the controversy regarding the 'Single Ladies' performance was blown out of proportion.

"I can tell you the cheering and screaming you heard on the video was from other parents and dance teams that were just blown away by their dance performance and precision. There was NOTHING provocative about what they were doing," Peters told PopEater last week.

The World of Dance Tour is the largest national urban and street dance competition, and in 2010 is taking place in nine major markets throughout the U.S. Top dance troupes partake in competition, which focuses on the art of street dancing and today's new age choreography, embracing urban dance and youth lifestyle.

First of all... "artsy" type people live in their own world and think that most others are "close minded", they don't consider the way the REAL world is, IDIOTS!

Second...these parents, the dance studio, Britanny Spears, Miley Cyrus, and others like them, all got what they wanted, ATTENTION!! "Sex sells"...too bad these talented little girls were used by so many people.

Third...this IS child endangerment, people now know who they are and where they live...where is Child Protective Services?

I think it's cute. Those little girls dance better than most adults! It's dancing and obviously the girls parents don't mind, so why should we? If you don't like it, don't watch it!!

this is not sexy. I wish i could do such a workout, can you imagine how agile these girls are going to stay with this kind of regular exercising. Maybe we can get more kids to join the exercise, it would bring us closer to less obesity. As far as pedophiles, they are not the reason for us punish kids. They are looking everywhere and anywhere to do their misdeeds.

These parents are selfishly caught up in their talented daughters. HOWEVER, they are exploiting them. This was from last year, how can parents defend this crap?! How many 7 year olds wear thigh high stockings, bump and grind, and move like that for the entertainment of adults and peers?!?! Disgusting! These parents should be looked into by child welfare authorities for exploiting their kids. Don't give me kids wear less on the beach or at the poot. They are NOT at the beach or pool! They are entertaining!! Do these parents know they have set their poor children up for every PEDOPHILE out there viewing and doing what else while watching their child?!?! No matter how hard the parents try they CAN NOT defend their stupidity, selfishness and insensitivity to their children. I am far from a prude, but this is insane and selfish on the parents part for putting their little girls in this situation! Next year.... pole dancing!

I agree! Unbelievable that any parent would let their young daughter dance like that in public. The grinding is specifically what strippers do to "turn on" their audiences (male perverts) to get more tips! To let a young girl do this is public in front of men and young boys is idiotic!

I agree this is disgusting! I actually live in Orange County where this dance studio is. Let me tell you, kids grow up WAY too fast in the OC. While there are some good parents here, there are too many selfish ones. Too many parents here
are too busy trying to stay young and relevant, and they try and be their kids' best friend. I'm sure these girls have parents like that, and I'm sure they're loving this popularity. It's really, really sad.

I am a 13 year old girl and I believe this is absolutely disturbing. I want guys to notice me but good Gd I would never dance like that... 1st of all my father would beet the living snot out of me and second, If a guy likes me just for that... then it's sick. I do not agree with any of you guys or girls who think this is "ok" if you start your life like this at a young age, who knows what it will turn out to be in the future... "Take me as I am, or watch me as I go"

You cant deny that these girls arent good dancers. Maybe the booty shakin is a tad much for their age. It is just dancing and its all being taken way out of context. If anything I look at it as they are talented!
