Jesse James to Appear on ABC's 'Nightline': Will Discuss Cheating, Sandra Bullock, and Rehab

ABC News announced today that Jesse James will appear on next Tuesday's 'Nightline,' in his first television interview since his cheating scandal made headlines in March.

James sits down with 'Nightline's' Vicki Mabrey and discusses his cheating, his divorce from Sandra Bullock, his stint in rehab, and his role in raising Louis, the New Orleans boy Bullock just recently adopted.

Since news of his multiple affairs hit the press, James has kept a low profile, seen only when dropping his kids off at school. But while staying relatively out of the spotlight, the reality star has issued several statements apologizing for his behavior.

When PEOPLE broke the story of Bullock's adoption last month, Jesse released the following statement to the magazine, "My whole life has been full of hard decisions. The decision to let my wife end our marriage, and continue the adoption of Louis on her own, has been the hardest. The love I have for Louis cannot be put to words. Not having him around to love and to hold has left a huge hole in my heart."

The interview will air on May 25 at 11:35 ET/PT on ABC.

who cares what he is doing or has done leave him alone..... it has nothing to do with any of our lives.. i would have done those women too... we are only human... no one has the perfect life if we did we wouldnt be on here judging others

You can "do" these women IF you are not MARRIED. And do not try to say all men are cheaters and would bang every tattooed girl out there or non tattooed girl. Some men are good guys. Guys like Jesse James are like wild animals. I'd say he probably loved Sandra and tried to be with a nice girl and just couldn't do it, his tattooed girl frenzy took over!

Jesse should demand that Sandra get on her knees before him and beg for his forgiveness. Sandra abandoned her man and flew off to make a movie somewhere. What is a red-blooded man supposed to do? Where is the woman who promised to take care of his manly urges? No, Sandra was nowhere to be found when Jesse was lonely and filled with pent-up pressures. Sandra should be ashamed and should go on television to apologize for what she has caused. It's a start to Sandra taking responsibility.

I really bet that even if Sandra scr*wed Jesse's brains out, everyday of the week ( or at least tried to! ), he still would've wanted a tattooed chick. Sex in a marriage works both ways. Sometimes the wife doesn't get it that much also ya know. Why is sex always about when, where, why the GUY needs it? We women need sex too! The person who cared about Jesse is divorcing him, so I would think she is making the correct decision. It's not up to us about what they do, but we CAN and do have an opinion about what we would do which may or may not concide with Sandra's decision and futhermore the decision is neither "right" or "wrong". It all boils down to CHOICE!

he is to have his affairs. Sandra gave him a chance to move out
