Jesse James to Appear on ABC's 'Nightline': Will Discuss Cheating, Sandra Bullock, and Rehab

ABC News announced today that Jesse James will appear on next Tuesday's 'Nightline,' in his first television interview since his cheating scandal made headlines in March.

James sits down with 'Nightline's' Vicki Mabrey and discusses his cheating, his divorce from Sandra Bullock, his stint in rehab, and his role in raising Louis, the New Orleans boy Bullock just recently adopted.

Since news of his multiple affairs hit the press, James has kept a low profile, seen only when dropping his kids off at school. But while staying relatively out of the spotlight, the reality star has issued several statements apologizing for his behavior.

When PEOPLE broke the story of Bullock's adoption last month, Jesse released the following statement to the magazine, "My whole life has been full of hard decisions. The decision to let my wife end our marriage, and continue the adoption of Louis on her own, has been the hardest. The love I have for Louis cannot be put to words. Not having him around to love and to hold has left a huge hole in my heart."

The interview will air on May 25 at 11:35 ET/PT on ABC.

I still have no respect for him. He waits more than two months to grant an interview!?! If he were really sorry and trying to get back into the good graces of his wife and the general population, he would have been on Oprah's couch back in March...that's a much larger audience than Nightline.

Maybe he isn't trying to get back in his wife's good graces and surely doesn't owe th general population a darn thing. Some of you people sound like ya don't have any real life of your own. This is HOLLYWOOD ...MOSTY FAKE!! Some of you speake as if you actually know these people. They are entertainers. Get a real life in the real world.

Now we're going to have to listen to Jesse drone on in that retard voice about how contrite he is. Hey, Sandra, don't you get it? This guy is a lowlife. Couldn't you see that as soon as you met him? Were you blind to the tattoos? During five years, didn't you notice that he was fascinated with speed, violence, and Nazi memorabilia? To answer "jtrynoble" JJ is a jerk, he cheated, AND cheated AND cheated, and you think his wife should forgive him???? Now if she were the one to cheat she would be persecuted and EVERY one out there would say NEVER FORGIVE HER!!! Why is it that men are allowed to cheat and then we women are hated for NOT forgiving him?? But men wouldn't forgive a woman, that has happened over and over again, but no one blambs him for not forgiving! This is justice baby, once a cheat always a cheat, no matter how good the wife is to him.

As opposed to Tiger...I think Jesse is truly remorseful. He was trying to have his cake and eat it...carrying on two separate lives, one of the crazy single guy and one of the loving husband and father. This goes against my usual thinking...but I do believe he really loves Sandra in spite of what he has done, and I also think that eventually, after a few of years of parenting the baby together, Sandra will forgive him and they will get back together, divorced or not.

I think it is funny when someone (Eric Johnson, Niter, Judy and Muffy) says what they (Jesse and Sandra) do is none of our business when they are on the same website checking out what Jesse admitted to and had to say. If it isn't any of our business (all those listed above) then why in the hell are you all on this site checking it out. You have no problem calling someone else out when you are doing the same thing.

Oh look at you people go! Such detailed thought and expression are in all of your posts.....about celebrities that you do not know personally, that have nothing to do with you at all, that do not care what others think (not rudely but seriously, they don't!) and you all just keep posting like your opinion matters or that it is being considered! I understand posting your opinion, that's what a message board is for, but to fight with others or go back and forth like you have a point to prove is just lame! The guy is a pathetic idiot who ruined his family in a horrible way and nothing you do or say will change it or change the way it's handled by him, her or anyone!!!! Leave it alone already, let them deal the way they choose and either watch the interview or don't, it doesn't have an impact!!!

I believe this is between a husband and wife and not any bodys business but theres, what is sad how many people are taking joy in someones else heartache, really if nobodys elses concern but Jesse and Sandra's
