Lindsay Loses Passport, Will Miss Court Hearing

Due to a passport mishap, Lindsay Lohan will be a no-show at her mandatory court hearing on Thursday morning.

According to TMZ, Lindsay claims that someone stole her passport in Cannes, and she was denied when attempting to board her flight back to Los Angeles Tuesday. She will meet with the US Embassy Thursday morning to receive a new passport.

But the judge for her hearing, Marsha Revel, has said she will put out a warrant for Lindsay's arrest if she fails to show up Thursday at 8:30 AM.

Lindsay has been on DUI probation since her 2007 arrest. Any violation of that probation, such as skipping alcohol education classes, missing court hearings or excessive alcohol use, could land her in jail.

Lindsay's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, told TMZ, "I was on the phone with Lindsay's assistant the entire night and we're doing everything we can to resolve this issue and get her back to LA."

"Lindsay is distraught because it was her intention to get back to LA today to do more alcohol education classes and appear in court tomorrow," Holley continued.

Despite attending only 10 of the 13 required alcohol education classes, Lindsay received high marks from the program, which stated that she "attends regularly and consistently." Officials also say that her "attitude is positive and receptive to ideas regarding lifestyle changes."

A district attorney on the case is apparently pushing for up to 180 days in jail, but it's up to the judge to decide whether or not Lindsay will serve any time.

Linzey Loman ALWAYS has an excuse for all of her bad behavior. Maybe she's just a congenital idiot and should be put in jail for her persistent parole violations. She was denied to board her flight, the the paps don't have any pictures of her at the airport. Any other time you would see pics of her. This week there was tons of photos from NYC and in the cannes, so why not the airport. I hope the judge does stuck to her word and put that skank away.

i don;t blame the chic because they ALLOW her to get away with it. Actually, they ALWAYS allow the rich to get away with this stuff. Ordinary people, like myself, would be hauled into court and thrown in the can. The funny part is, she isn;t even rich, she is broke. So maybe i should rephrase that to "famous" as pposed to rich people. The system is an Absolute Disgrace and the country is getting closer to civil unrest!

Lindsay Lohan is a typical spoiled rotten child star that has turned to drugs and alcohol because they cannot deal with real life. She had everything, looks, money, talent and what did she do?...Drugs and Alcohol. LOSER! She needs to go to jail for the full time allowed and in general population because...she is a NOBODY, therefore she is no better than any of the rest of us. First it was the volcanic ash now this... lol. She isn't that good of an actress, she should have to show up like any of us would have. I mean honestly... You think if you or I took off to another country and then made up some lame excuse for missing court a judge would be ok with it? Doubtful.

Here's what you do. You throw her in a cell in a men's prison with a couple log-d**k black guys (nothing racist intended).
I know alot of people will say this is what she wants, but a month or two in jail with the black guys, she will be begging for mercy. Go CUBS...

I say its BS.... she should be held RESPONSIBLE for her actions and CALI needs to arrest her 1 if ur on probation u CANT leave the state. so she already revoked her probation by leaving the state... ok the LAWS are written in plain ENGLISH. But once again they will be bent for a Celebrity.
