The new issue of Us Weekly has the latest pics of Sandra Bullock with her new son, Louis Bardo Bullock.According to an eyewitness in Austin, Sandra was "showing the baby off to just random people in stores."
"Sandra was in a really happy mood," the witness added.
One local store owner told Us that Sandra is "such a natural with [Louis] and so easygoing and chill ... He's such a big boy!"
Another source explained that it's good for Bullock to have Louis to get over her marriage to Jesse James. "Having Louis around is perfect therapy for what she went through with Jesse."
The Oscar winner filed for divorce from James when several of his extra-marital affairs came to light just days after she took home her Academy Award for 'The Blind Side.'
Bullock stayed quiet about the experience for weeks, opening up to PEOPLE at the end of April about her the downfall of her relationship and of course her adoption of baby Louis.

It is also confusing to me why rich and well-to-do black people, black celebrities for example, don't adopt a black baby boy to give him a better life, like Sandra did? Black boy babies are the hardest children to place in an adoptive home. You rarely hear of black celebrities adopting babies.

You can say that again. He is from New Orleans isn't he?

I of course don't know but I suspect Ms Bullock has realized she dodged a bullet. James is not the role model any mother wants around for their son.

You must not have read the article in People magazine or you would have known Sandra wanted a baby period. She did not care about the color or if it was a boy or girl. You people need to get your facts straight before you blog on these sites. She is raising the baby in New Orleans where the child was born. New Orleans is part of the good ole USA.

UHHHH...THIS IS A VERY BAD PHOTO OF BABY LOUISE!!!!

Becky - I'm not saying that black children are not American; however, the black race always has to be labeled as African-American. When they drop that hyphenated label I'll look at this differently. Blacks, actually Jessie Jackson, came up with the term African-American to ensure that the separation between the races lives on. By Sandra Bullock, Madonna, Brad and Angelina, etc., will not change anything about the way people feel about racism. Its time now for a black-celebrity to adopt a white kid from the USA. The only reason that Sandra got an American baby is because she's rich and famous. I know several couples who gave up on adoption in the US because it was too bureacratic to adopt a deserving American child.

Yes, baby Louis is American because he was born in New Orleans. Let's reflect back to Hurricane Katrina. Didn't the mayor of New Orleans call it a "Chocolate City?" Once again, someone in a high post ensuring that the races remain separate? Sandra's adoption of a black baby from New Orleans isn't going to change a thing on both racial sides to this issue.

Anni you really have a twisted way of thinking so what if a black baby is raised white that doesn't make him bad just a good black man raised with white ways just like a white baby raised black who would have a fit? I think you are pregidous get with the times this baby has a good person raising him who cares what her color is he will only see her love and care not the color white that will be mom to him shame on you.

Nothing against most stars these days but I was happy to see that she adopted an American child. People act like children from here don't need homes.

I will start off by clarifying that I am a white woman. I am also well aware that as any color and nationality we all need to be taught about our heritage. How is Sandra going to bring this child up knowing his roots and be proud of it if he is mostly surrounded by white people. ( I said mostly) If she wanted to help a black family financially adopt this child it would make more sense. It seems she was missing something in her life so she thought a child would make her feel better. Instead of trying to work out her problems before adoption.

I am sure Sandra B. will make sure the baby knows his heritage, and he will turn into a very strong black man; loving his mother very much....

Why are so many white people so damn caught up with black people's beautiful nappy curly hair? These people got some damn nerve. Most of your hair look like monkey hair, yet, you force black men to shine their heads off in order to obtain a job. Then you try to sitck your monkey hair up in the air with super glue trying to imitate the black nappy look.
I LOVE MY BEAUTIFUL NAPPY HAIR...AND DAMN PROUD OF IT TOO!!!

So how is that being raised by a black family can make a black child a strong black man? If that were the case I would think there would be more strong black men out there and that is not the case! Louis stands a better chance with Sandra than being raised in his "own" environment...just look at the results for most black young men in America.
