'American Idol' Narrows Field Down to Two Finalists

For the ninth time, 'American Idol' has whittled itself down to only two contestants vying for the title.

The fate of the final three -- Casey James, Lee Dwyze and Crystal Bowersox -- was decided on last night's 'Idol' results show.

So who will head to the Kodak Theater to compete for the crown and the lucrative recording contract? Spoiler Alert: America sent James packing, leaving Dewyze and Bowersox to battle it out next week.

Dwyze, great kid but, should have been gone long ago. The young crowd and texters keep him in. Will join the list of Idol's who haven't made an impact.

Worst final of the whole series. Neither deserves to win. The judges are mostly to blame for heaping such praise on two people who have the stage presence of dryer lint and no better vocal skills than any karaoke bar regular. It'll be Taylor Hicks all over again.

Crystal haven't voted entire season ,but will in end.Wish we could vote so they would not bring this show back.Enough already let the wanna bees get out there and earn it like true artist.

Pretty good voices,but yeah, not alot of stage presence. This year was just OK, not great.Not- an Adam, in the bunch. O well!

I think Lee Dwyze should win. He has taken all of the advice of the judges and has grown as a singer with the show. He's got a great voice. Crystal on the other hand has not taken the advice and has some what of an attitude. She is a very good singer too, but she sounds the same everytime she sings. No real surprizes. GOO LEE!!!!

I think both Lee and Crystal have stayed true to themselves as they searched to find out who they are as artists. Although sometimes a little pitchy and verging on karaoke or cabaret they are what this show is all about. Yo yo yo, I'm all out of cliches. Just shows that if you know the right phrases anyone can be a judge on AI. Or, as Ellen would say, "I think, but then, you were, as I said earlier, I didn't, but you did and I liked it."

What do you brain donors want? Both of these people have enormous talent.
No they are not seasoned veterans, but both will sell allot of records. That is the bottom line, not how popular they are with a bunch of couch potato self proclaimed talent scouts.

He picked a mediocre song and the judges picked a worse song for him to sing. Then they acted like they didn't know what Simon was saying. Talk about throwing someone under the bus. Anyway I didn't think he was gonna win anyway. I prefer Lee. More better for Casey that he's gone now, that way he doesn't have to be under American Idol rule for the next few years. He'll get a contract anyway.
