To her credit, Avril Lavigne has always straddled the line between mainstream pop and punk, and now she's showing off her edgy side yet again with a cover spread and interview in Inked Magazine's June/July issue, which PopEater is exclusively premiering. In the interview, Lavigne discusses everything from her up-in-the-air relationship with Sum 41 rocker Deryck Whibley, love in general and, yes, her tattoos. After the jump, a hi-rez version of the cover for you to check out her tats ... at least the ones she can publicly show off.Inked Magazine editor Rocky Rakovic tells PopEater that the publication is incredibly pumped to have Miss Lavigne on their cover. "Avril was the ultimate crush for guys hanging around the half-pipe in the early 2000s," Rakovic says. "And we were happy to shoot her for her June/July music issue as she transforms from skater girl to goddess -- we are even more smitten now."
So what's Lavigne's favorite tattoo of all? "My favorite tattoo is this one," Avril said, lifting up her shirt to expose her rib cage, which donned ink blaring the 4-letter F-bomb. "It's my favorite word!" Lavigne exclaimed during the shoot.
What else did Lavigne have to say during the Inked interview?
On Her Relationship With Deryck Whibley: "We celebrated his 30th birthday together," Lavigne says. "It was a big one and I was like, 'Lets get 30 tattoos. I will if you will.'" Still, Rakovic says Lavigne insisted they're just friends at this point. (Hint: She's rumored to be with 'Hills' hunk Brody Jenner.)Fans Who Get Avril-related Tattoos: "I've seen people with my portrait, and some people put my name on them after I sign my autograph. I signed one girl's ass and she tattooed it. I was like, 'Ooh, I better do a really good job!'"
On Potential New Tats: "I want to get a big-ass-motherf*****g tattoo on my forearm. I'm going to wait a few years and make sure I still want it then. I have to wait for that special someone to come back into my life. I want to do a big-ass heart with a flag through it with a name. I want it to be a huge experience and statement."

Avril, Sum 41, Simple Plan, Green Day, New Found Glory, Blink 182.... These clowns don't know what punk is. Ramones, The Stooges, The Clash, Sex Pistols, Richard Hell & the Voidoids, Johnny Thunders, Black Flag, The Misfits, The Vandals, .... That was punk. They embodied the ideals of their musical generation. These posers and wannabes are about as punk as a Wal-Mart cashier.

You know what's really funny about Avril Lavigne? She never wrote a single one of her songs. Not a one. All written by old men and forged together by greedy producers. C'mon. Do you really think a 16-17 y/o girl, could write polished songs like that? She was one of the industrys' first test balloons, to see if the Miley Cyrus model(young female solo rocker marketed to teen and preteen girls), would get traction. Sadly, it did.
Michelle Branch, was expected to be the more successful one in the same category. But for whatever reason, Avril is remembered more. Both essentially no-talents. But their publicists will pay big money, to make sure their names, loved or hated, will remain fresh in our minds, and thus further protecting their investment.
Her Wikipedia lists Avril's insturments played as: Vocals, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, piano, drums

i never believed that Avril wrote those songs. and i was in high school then so all my stupid friends fell for all that clarkson branch avril nonsense. shes no smarter than stupid hanna montana,,so why would anyone believe she cud write any of it?? it sucks anyways. total fake media creation.
Star tattoos are lame, just like tribal tattoos. Every doucebag either has a star or tribal tattoo.

I have 5 tattoos. Each and every one of them symbolizes something important in my life and I have no regrets about any of them. My very favorite one is the one on my left wrist. It is my son's fingerprint. It was done when he was 9 months old. My husband had his fingerprint taken and blown up on a copy machine and then tattooed (with my consent of course!!) on my pulsepoint on my left wrist for Mother's Day. I had always said "His finger was on my pulse always!" so, my husband had it put there permanently! I adore it! My son is always with me!
As for Ms Lavigne, I just don't "get her". I've watched her in concerts, in interviews and on TV. Just don't get her. She's rude and hateful and self-centered. I just don't get it. Without fans, she is nothing. So, don't bite the hand that feeds you. It can withdraw! Put a smile on that face and quit immitating Victoria Beckham. Even she has learned that smiling increases face value! All the frowning and glaring does is make you look like a sourpuss! And, makes all kinds of premature wrinkles!

Their is not anything I have put on my body that I regret I would do it all again. They do not show unless I want them too I worked In a professional industry. I am glad it is more accepted now true tattoo art is really beautiful.

I just looked her up, I guess she divorced her husband and went after Brody Jenner. The Hills are gonna turn into a reality show about them two and their "love". Avril doesn't fit in with the whole Hills girls, but that show's being off the air soon anyway. Whatever, he is SMA-OKING!
