Listen: Liza Minnelli Performs 'Single Ladies' for 'Sex and the City 2'

Are you ready for this? As previously reported, Liza Minnelli will be appearing in 'Sex And The City 2,' and (spoiler alert!) she'll officiate Stanford Blatch's wedding before busting into Beyonce's 'Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It).'

The track leaked this morning, so we're giving you the pleasure of a first listen. We're pretty sure you've never heard 'Single Ladies' like this before. Don't say we didn't warn you! Listen to the 'SATC2' track. >>

The 64-year-old screen legend says filming the scene was "a blast" (via Contact Music). "It's a wonderful number ... It's rock and roll. Everything is moving! And I just got a whole new knee, so I can promise you everything is moving."

Other stars who'll be popping up in the 'Sex' sequel include Penelope Cruz and Miley Cyrus. 'Sex and the City 2' will hit theaters on May 27.

Liza Minnelli can do ANYTHING she wants as far as I'm concerned. However, I hate the lame song and am not fond of Beyonce anyway.

I never understood the appeal of Liza Minnelli. I am sure there will be many that disagree but she does not have 1/10th the talent her mother had. Her voice is terrible, always has been always will be, her dancing was never more than mediocre and the truth is, she would have no career if not for her family. That being said, she is probably a wonderful, generous human being but that does not translate into talent. She could never even hold a candle to the people she has performed with over the years. I am no fan of Beyonce, I think all her songs sound pretty much the same but even Beyonce is way way more talented than Liza, no questions about it.

Every generation needs to be represented. Even the boomers need to be reminded that the deal needs to be sealed with a wedding ring. But I'm wondering if anyone can sit through that song and not do that head shoulder move? Great song, love Liza, but B has nothing to worry about.

Are you kidding? In Liza's prime she could have danced circles around Beyonce! Back in those days you needed talent to be famous, you wouldn't have ever heard of Paris and the Kardashian girls. There were no reality shows and no sex tapes to make untalented people famous back then.
