Rep: Bret Michaels 'Taking Every Precaution To Insure His Health'

With Bret Michaels ready to rock Sunday night and attend the 'Celebrity Apprentice' finale, his rep says the rocker is not taking any "undue risks" when it comes to his recovery.

Michaels is still recovering from a "warning stroke" he suffered Thursday, his rep insists he'll be fine.

"Bret is a very passionate person and refuses to live his life curled up in a ball wondering if or when something else might happen," his spokeswoman Janna Elias wrote on his Website.

The Poison rocker was hospitalized again when he felt numbness in his arm. Doctors found that he had a small stroke as well as a hole in his heart, which is known as a Patent Forum Ovale. Neither are believed to be related to his recent brain hemorrhage.

These newest health issues come on the heels of the singer's brain hemorrhage. On April 23, Michaels made an emergency visit to the hospital after suffering a crippling headache that turned out to be a brain hemorrhage. He was in critical condition, but eventually recovered and was released.

"As his friends and staff we are all making sure that he is not taking any undue risks and we are certainly taking every precaution possible to insure his health and well being," Michaels' rep adds. "If and when something else occurs we will deal with it at that time."

On Sunday's 'Apprentice' finale, Michaels and Holly Robinson-Peete will compete. The winner will receive a $250,000 donation to their favorite charity.

Of course he's going to attend the finale. Think for a second that he was going to back out due to health concerns? He's in this to milk it for all it's worth. And "Mr. Guyliner" will win too. Think for a second that Trump will fire him? Not on your life. In fact, I'll bet that Trump even "sweetened the pot" so that Michaels would show. That's how snakes operate. This guy has had one hit in decades and is better known for his reality shows with pole dancers. Who else wears badannas and a hat 24 hours a day? What a loser.

Mike, Bret is hardly a loser. He is extremely successful and has managed to reinvent himself through his reality shows. Even if he hasn't had a hit musically in years, at least he can be proud to know he had one at all. He is a talented, down to earth, great guy. Would I sleep with him? Hell no...but all of those girls on Rock of Love knew exactly what they were doing and what they were getting into. I've watched this show from the beginning, and I personally think he deserves to win.....although Holly Robinson Peete has been fantastic, too, and will be hard to beat. They both have wonderful charities that deserve all the exposure they can get....but Bret still gets my vote.

Mike, you're an idiot. It just shows how much of a determined person that Bret is even with his health issues. His charity of Juvenile Diabetes is very important to him since he has it. Personally, I have been a fan of his for many many years and his determination and drive is inspiring!!! GO BRET!!

Even before all these health scares, I wanted him to win. It could go the other way where he doesnt win because it would seem unfair. So either way, he cant win even though he deserves to. I agree he seems like an authentic person who is real and has screwed up like the rest of us. But he is talented and because he is a nice guy, he has stayed in the limelight. If he was a creep, he would have disappeared a long time ago.

Say what you will about Bret, Mr. Trump, or their personal reasons for being at the finale, but you can't take away the fact that more children and people die of diabetes everyday, and suffer through a life of needles and more sugar count pricks than any human should have to deal with. If Bret hypes it for his charity, then I say YES!!! You go Bret, the more money poured into this charity, the sooner this curse can be eliminated.
God speed Bret, and Bless your wife for her strength, and bless all the children who will have to learn to deal with giving themselves daily stab wounds with a needle and glucose meter.

Yes hes caring all right one way he shows it is by living in a different city from his kids and their mom. They live in scottsdale he lives in phoenix is he gonna marry her? doubtful. he so caring, that instead of spending time with his daughters he hangs out in strip joints.
