There was infinite drama in the run-up to Sunday night's 'Celebrity Apprentice' finale, and strangely enough, it had nothing to do with the show itself, but more with Bret Michaels' erratic health issues. The rocker suffered a brain hemorrhage weeks ago, and just days before the big finale, he was rushed to the hospital again after suffering a stroke. Recovered, Bret flew to New York to take part in the big finale, where he was competing against Holly Robinson Peete for the title. If his health is so important why did`nt he listen to his doctors and rest ?? Because Bret is in it to milk this for all it`s worth. The guys ego is so huge he wont even rest.he would rather be on some television show milking the sympathy and selling his self..

something isn't right about this whole story. yes, michaels has an enormous ego, but apparently he is superhuman. strokes are devastating. how could he go back on tv so soon? his next bedroom is likely to be in a nursing home.

What is wrong with you? Any ability to be happy for someone who worked hard and beat some serious odds?? Sad.
He was in it for the long run. It show's how strong he really is facing his health issues, but still staying involved and not giving up. I applaud him for that. He has shown an amazing strength. Glad Bret won for the Diabetes Foundaton something that is close to him. Prayer's for Bret and his full recovery.

Brett has tons of money and could have given to the foundation without risking his health, I think he was in it for the applause, very sad.

It's amazing and sad that even the good things that people do end up getting panned by cynical, cranky people. Glad he won - he deserved it. Hope he just takes some time to rest now.

Check with your Doctor, no such thing as a borderline diabetic,as such most of us would register there! Shame on the sympathy vote! Be a man the lady beat you in all areas except the Bs and poor me categories. If HE wAS concerned about his health, he would have kicked in the funds for his charity and stayed in the hospital to properly heal, NOT VERY RESPONSIBLE FATHER, OH yuh forgot he is a rock star!? idiot.

He has a cause a disease. He is dealing with diabetes.. Unless
you must inject yourself everyday you would not understand.
He absolutely should have won because he won both times he was
a project manager and created a healthy drink;I know it will be
a bigger seller for Snapple.
Many people are borderline diabetic; check with your doctor. They must watch their sugar intake.
Sharyn Osbourne couldn't handle the flu and took 2 weeks leave

I totally agree with you. Holly may seem more professional, but it seems Bret was a better project manager/team player, since he did win both times he was project manager. And I'm surprised Sharon lasted as long as she did...in the real world, missing that many important projects would be grounds for firing - I think Mr. Trump just liked her (and Cindy Lauper for that matter...too annoying to work with!)
I think Bret deserved to win. I do think they should have divided the prize money differently - Bret should have gotten more for his charity than Holly in the end, but they got the same amount?? I think that was wrong.
Bret you the man! You were better then holly overall in the game and deserve the prize...
