Lindsay Lohan Back in L.A. for Her Court Hearing

Two days after missing a probation hearing, Lindsay Lohan arrives at LAX airport on Saturday evening. Wearing dark hat and sunglasses, Lohan ignored paparazzi who were shouting her name and yelling, "Welcome back, gorgeous."

Lohan had a tumultuous week of partying at the Cannes film festival. After she was a no-show at Thursday's mandatory DUI progress report hearing, Judge Marsha Revel issued a warrant for Lohan's arrest.

The judge is letting her surrender in court, if in fact she lost her passport while in Cannes. Judge Revel set Lohan's bail at $100,000.

Lindsay's mother Dina is confident that all of this will blow over, as she tells PopEater's Rob Shuter exclusively: "Everything is going to be fine. Lindsay has a new passport."

According to TMZ, Lohan claimed that someone stole her passport in Cannes, and she was denied when attempting to board her flight back to Los Angeles Tuesday. She said she intended to meet with the US Embassy Thursday morning to receive a new passport.

However, RadarOnline reports that Lohan never applied to get a new passport, and TMZ reports Lindsay also didn't report the stolen passport to French authorities.

Lohan must now undergo random drug and alcohol testing, get fitted with an alcohol monitoring bracelet and not drink any alcohol until she turns up in court.

This all stems from Lohan's June 2007 arrest in which she was pulled over and taken into custody for suspicion of drunk driving and cocaine possession. Just a month earlier, she was arrested on another DUI charge.

lohan needed to be arrested immediately upon arrival and taken into the county lock up. why is the judge allowing her to surrender in court. were it you or me, we would have been arrested at the airport.

She should have been picked up at the airport and taken to jail. Real Jail. No special place because she is famous. This girl needs to go to jail for awhile so she can see what it's like the life she chose. She thinks she has no problem, but she does. She also blames everyone for her choices. She needs to own up to her mistakes and get on with her life. It's not daddy's fault that she is a dope and alcohol fiend. It's her own fault. The sooner she realizes that the sooner she can get better. Get off the pity pot Linsay.

Her life's just going to continue spiraling out of control until she addresses her addiction. We've seen this kind of story again and again. Rarely do they have a happy ending. The egos involved are just to big. The courts aren't doing her a favor by treating her with kid gloves either. She needs to find her bottom.

Agree with the above, she's a spoiled brat, what has she even done lately to be called a star but fall down and be a drunk. No parent in their right mind would sit back and watch all this unfold, they are two selfish individuals loving the perks of fame, her fame is not good fame, it's pathetic.The mother and father are lovin the Hollywood life,the mother and daughter are begging for closets on tv, ridiculous.

Lindsay should have been arrested at the airport and probably never should have been allowed to leave the country as would be the case if it were you or I. Also, why is it legal for strange people to get in your face with cameras and electronic devices? These objects could easily be weapons but for some crazy reason the legal system protects paparazzi.

Same oh thing..... , if your famous or have lots of money your treated alot different in the courts. She has a pattern of doing just what she wants to do and always gets away with it. She should of been arrested and taken to jail the moment she arrived in the US.

There is nothing wrong with Lohan that a few months in jail wouldn't help. She is a talented actress that has lost her way and maybe a few months in jail and a few years of monitering for drugs and alcohol would get her on the right track. Try and get your act back on track, Lindsay.

You have a good point. It doesn't appear that she will help herself. I think of Robert Downey, another talented actor on drugs. If the judge had not stepped in and said enough is enough he'd probably be dead now. It seems she needs the same thing to happen to her.

How many times can someone who is a star get busted, get convicted, get into auto accidents, get hit with DWI's etc. AND STILL NEVER SERVE ANY REAL JAIL TIME !!!!!!!

jail time Is what she needs maybe then her father & mother will realize the seriousness of the situation her mother refuses to see what is going on even though they have another child waiting to be just like her older sister! they should be oh so proud!
