Eight days of conspiracies, torture and all-around world-saving came to an end on '24' last night, with Jack Bauer riding off into the sunset as, you guessed it, a fugitive. Cue the planned movie based on the series! On the same night, TV land also bid adieu to the king of legal dramas, 'Law & Order,' after 19 years of patrolling the streets. The final episode was a ripped-from-the-headlines affair, involving a school shooting. But true to Dick Wolf's style, there were no weepy goodbyes, no dream sequences with Jerry Orbach, no Fred Thompson and his Texas drawl stopping by the courthouse. Just "dun-dun" home goodness.Finale Night: '24' and 'Law & Order' Say Goodbye

Getting rid of any Law & Order is a crime!!

OMG...I am addicted to all Law & Orders. Watch and tape reruns...
How could they remove a show of such dignity, intelligence and great entertainment!!!!
They should have done something different at the end of the
show, curtain call or something. It was just like any other show.>

It is about time... This show has run tooooo lllloooonnnnngggg and it got more boring with each show... I am glad it is over..Now if TNT will just take the hint and stop showing it 6 times a day it would be even better..

No one forces you to watch it and it shouldn't bother you that it is on TNT 6 times a day. There are many other stations to watch. I am pissed that L&O has been cancelled, it is and has been one of the top five tv shows of all time. I am sorry to see it go especially when there is so much crap on the tube that stays on especially the CSI series that are so far out of reality and most of the things they use to solve crimes is non-existent. I am a forensic specialist so I know. And if this equipment was real, no crime lab could afford it. It's ridiculous and the sad part is this is what is hurting real juries in trials because people think this stuff really exits when it doesn't.
Didn't watch them, but "Chuck" was great and the ending left you wanting to hurry to the fall opener!

What do you mean that was the finale of L&O. That was it? The end of 19 years ends like that? It deserved a better send off.

Law and Order started to go down once they became political. Why didn't they leave it alone as one of the best on TV instead of using it for making politcal statements???

The whole thing is a joke
Law and Order was plain home cooking, a series of neatly packaged dramas with a start, middle and end. The cast was good and this series will be missed. Go ahead, networks, drop all the good shows and fill the screens with tacky, unreal "reality" shows promoting the likes of Gosselin et.al. Not for this viewer!

I loved the way in which Law and Order ended its run. The scene with Sam Waterston had me cheering and S. Epatha Merkerson OWNED it in the scene where she is getting her MRI.
I don't understand why they can't keep it going but yet they can start yet another Law and Order in L.A.
Did I fall asleep during Lindsey Vonn's cameo? I didn't see her.

That show 24 is I'm pretty sure the show that had a woman who stabbed a man and my little girl was near the t.v and I blocked her view and I was shocked they would show something like that on t.v! GOOD RID, should've been on HBO. ( I stumbled onto the show due to my dvr )

Law and Order is an excellent, excellent drama. The actors are superb. This is just one LESS reason to watch that channel. I really hope another channel picks up this superb series! Please!!!

The current actors on L&A are the reason the show died! They got away from keeping past actors and new ones at the same time and they also had hit a low when it came to talent.
