'Tis the season for sun, fun and celebrity sightings. As summer quickly approaches, hem lines lift, everyone tries to rid themselves of those unfortunate pasty thighs and famous folk start to come out of hibernation. Television shows are on hiatus, summer blockbusters are already in the can and Lindsay Lohan ... well, Lindsay has been out all winter too.
We at PopEater thought we would do you a favor by listing the hottest celeb hangouts in New York, Los Angeles and Miami -- places where you're sure to rub elbows with Leo DiCaprio, flirt with a Kardashian or get punched in the face by someone from the 'Jersey Shore.'
Where They're Eating, Drinking and Playing in NEW YORK
Pulino – Famed restauranteur Keith McNally brought the sexy to both pizza and the Bowery with his latest project. On the typical Tuesday, it's is so star-studded that you may have to cut in front of Emma Watson to get to the restroom or cherry pick a piece of quattro formaggi pizza off of Bill Murray's plate. (He would probably be really gracious about it.)
<<< The Breslin – Anywhere that Clive Owen, Kanye West and U2 (yeah altogether, figure that one out) choose to just chill on a random evening has to have a certain level of charm, and Ken Friedman's (The Spotted Pig) The Breslin in the Ace Hotel certainly oozes charm ... and pickle juice. To get in the good graces of mohawked bartender and celeb buddy T.J. Lynch -- and perhaps get served your martini before Orlando Bloom -- make sure to order the secret house special, The Pickle Back, a shot of Jameson's Irish whiskey chased by a shot of homemade pickle juice. It's tastier than you think. Chef April Bloomfield (also of Spotted Pig fame) has also created a meat-heavy menu that has foodies checking their calorie count at the door.
Kenmare – Nightlife guru Paul Sevigny -- actress Chloe Sevigny's brother -- turns everything he touches into cool. In 2006, he made West Village speakeasy The Beatrice Inn a regular hangout for Kirsten Dunst, the Olsen twins and Kate Moss, but Kenmare has been attracting an even better looking and more mature stable of celebrities, including the one and the only Mick Jagger. Enough said.
Where They're Eating, Drinking and Playing in LOS ANGELES
The Bazaar – It is actually deceptive to classify this LA hot spot as just one venue; it is actually more of a food court for delicious gourmet offerings. Overseen by Spanish chef Jose Andres, it occupies the entire ground floor of the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills. Tapas bars Bianca and Rojo are adjacent to Bar Centro and Patisserie. This is the perfect spot for organizing a culinary crawl, and you'll run into all manner of A-listers -- like Eva Longoria, Kristen Bell and Hayden Panettiere.
The L.A.Times' Four-Star Rave for The Bazaar
bar210 – Nestled on the corner of Santa Monica and Wilshire, bar210 has attracted the likes of Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Jen Garner, Demi Moore, Molly Simms, Jay Leno, Chelsea Handler, Penelope Cruz, Matt Dillon, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Adrian Grenier, blah blah blah. With 'Top Chef' alum Marcel Vigneron cooking up tasty dishes, not only is Tinseltown sipping champagne and eating tasty nibbles, they are begging for seconds. Their recent Cinco de Mayo bash had everyone dancing and laughing with entertainment provided by a midget Mariachi band.
Trousdale – Fans of 'The Hills' know the name of nightlife impresario Brent Bolthouse all too well. But when he isn't been busy employing Heidi Montag, Brent has been running West Hollywood's Trousdale, already a favorite of Hilary Duff, Lindsay Lohan, Katy Perry and Kristen Cavallari. Plenty of young hotties always equals plenty of drama. Get there before Lindsay steals your boyfriend.
Where They're Eating, Drinking and Playing in MIAMI
Mokai – One of South Beach's most celebrated boites just reopened and promises to be even sexier than it was last season. Sure this classy and effortlessly-cool joint may occassionaly be trashed up a notch with appearances from the cast of 'Jersey Shore,' but it also welcomes the likes of Cameron Diaz, Katie Holmes, Lenny Kravitz, Ricky Martin and Paris Hilton.
The Wall – Cloistered in the back of the W South Beach Hotel and intimate enough that there is no need for a VIP lounge (the whole place is VIP), this space is so cozy that you could knock over DJ Samantha Ronson while schlepping your magnum of champagne from one table to the next.
Marina at the Mondrian – Famous folk love a good sunset as much as the rest of us, and that's why the Marina at the Mondrian Hotel can't be beat for a happy hour cocktail as the sun sets over Biscayne Bay. Recent sunset peepers have included Marisa Tomei, Bon Jovi, the Kardashians and Serena Williams.
What a silly mommy! Katie Holmes takes Suri into the water in her clothes as the two spend the afternoon at the beach in Miami. More of Today's Hottest Photos
