What a loser. I really feel sorry for his daughter. Both he and his ex need some serious therapy so they can start being parents. Unfortunately, by that time, their daughter is going to need some serious therapy, too.

Disgusting and 2x as bad that he involves his 17 year old.
I KNEW IT !!! THATS WHY HOWIE TOOK HIS PLACE ON AMERICAS GOT TALENT
What if you were an Alcoholic and someone called you a loser , At least he is trying to get help wouldn"t you agree that is a good thing , It must feel nice to you kicking a man down with a alcohol promblem.
Big Deal. Entertainment world and medical world endorse boozing. A good example is the program MASH. They drink and carry on in almost every episode and it ain't percieved as bad either.
and he's getting help how exactly? by drinking? this guy is pathetic, and the only thing more pathetic is that they give him any ink! that footage his daughter shot of him slobbering all over that cheeseburger was so disgusting. does that man have no self-respect or dignity?? ugh
teri...unfortunately she already does!!!
Someone needs to take this Man by his hand and lead him to recovery. He is obviously suffering from a serious illness that has killed many people. maybe the simplest thing would be to send him a copy of "My Name is Bill W". C'mon people, we are better than this. If we need to pick on people, let's pick on those who are not suffering from a disease.
He's obviously an alcoholic and needs recovery preferbly AA. That would be a start in the right direction. The problem is he must first admit his problem and inability to control it by himself. Until that time he is truely helpless. That my friends is the sad reality.
SAD !.... Very sad situation for his children to have this
( about their Dad ) to look back on.
I do wish he would love his children > more than his alcohol

Hey P: He doesn't love his alcohol more than his children...sorry, it just doesn't work that way. Your ignorance is showing...
AA works, he might want to hit about a hundred meetings...

Not for everyone it doesn't! Get off your soap box.
Totally agree...I don't even think he's tried AA since he won't even admit having a problem. You won't know if it works or doesn't work if you won't even go there to find that out. He's a selfish thing, I don't know why anyone hires him.
David - If you read this, please, get some help.

After years of drinking heavily, and I mean heavily, I stopped.
October 20 2009 was the last day I consumed alcohol.
Went to 7 AA meetings. Came to the realization that I was not powerless against alcohol. I made the decision to drink, not the alcohol.
Still have beer, and booze in the basement fridge. I feel no temptation to drink it.
Quitting cold turkey wasn't easy. It took about 3 weeks to get over most of the temptation. I'm very thankful for the support of my Wife, a Sister of hers, and my Family.
We're confident that my continued abstinence will succeed.
Best of luck to David, and his Family.

We share the same sobriety date. Though we are taking different paths I wish you well.
GLAD YOU FOUND AA. I MUST TELL YOU THOUGH THAT IF YOU ARE AN ALCOHOLIC YOU MUST CONTINUE TO GO TO MEETINGS OR YOU WILL--WILL-- RELAPSE. 7 MEETINGS WILL NOT KEEP YOU SOBER. IT'S AN ONGOING LIFESTYLE. I CELEBRATE 40 YEARS OF SOBRIETY TOMORROW.I HAVE SOME EXPERIENCE. KEEP GOING TO MEETINGS.BEST OF LUCK. EASY DOES IT.
If you are in the program, read the traditions and stop advertising the program by name - not allowed.
First off it is NOT illigal or what ever to say AA by name. what is wrong is putting a face to AA. there are even PSA out there for AA. guess you have never done a big book study. and to the other person, you dont have to go to AA for the rest of your life. to not drink. I went for a few mo and I havent been to a meeting in two years, nor have I drank since not going, he said it right, you choose to drink, either going to meetings or not. you know what helped me the most, someone in my ground said this..you cant control the thoughts of alochol getting into your mind, but you can control how long it stays there.
