Megan Fox to Be Replaced by Victoria's Secret Model in 'Transformers 3'?

Though Heidi Montag made an impassioned plea to director Michael Bay to be Megan Fox's replacement in 'Transformers 3,' it appears another blond is the front-runner for the role. Victoria's Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is rumored to be at the top of Bay's list to play Shia LaBeouf's love interest in the third film of the hit 'Transformers' franchise, the LA Times is reporting.

Supposedly, the model read for Bay last week. And although she has no previous acting experience, she's a favorite for the role.

Other names on the rumored short list include Sarah Wright (she starred in 'The House Bunny') and Sports Illustrated cover girl Brooklyn Decker.

Paramount, the studio behind the blockbuster, told RadarOnline.com, "There is nothing official, so it's no comment right now."

While it's been unclear whether Fox left the franchise on her own or was let go, the actress hasn't been quiet about how unhappy she was working for Bay. And while the director might not be sad to see her go, there is one person who will miss the outspoken actress -- Tyrese Gibson. He told MTV News, "I was sad about it, man. Genuinely. We built something here. We all did. We all put our own sauce and stamp and energy on this franchise."

Production on 'Transformers 3' began earlier this month.

Considering the role its not exactly huge shoes to fill......BUT Brooklyn Decker good lord could there be a worst possibility? Or Sarah Wright? Good lord, good name drop (the house bunny) not exactly the best movie around especially for an extra.

I have to agree Rosie Huntington-Whiteley seems super hot but then megan fox is too and cant act worth a crap. So are they killing her off? Replacing her? or pulling a Back to the Future (same g/f character, diff actress)? If the latter I find it funny they're gona switch her hair color...suddenly she decided to go blond?

Heidi Montag really thought she could get cast in a guaranteed blockbuster film? Apparently all of that silicone is polluting her brain.

Yes, guaranteed blockbuster. The last one was horrible, got panned by all of the critics and it was still one of the highest grossing movies on '09. The movies clearly don't have to be good tobe blockbusters.

I think this is the dumbest thing Michael Bay has done, replace Megan Fox who can't act, with a model who has never acted. Why couldn't he get a real actress?

I thought she was kinda Latina in 'Transformers'. Then again so does the teen boy who finds them. I'm thinkin' it's a Mexican movie! Must be cheap actors, must be if they want THOSE SFX! This movie is crap! The end is horrible!

If Michael Bay wants to kill this franchise, give the role to Heidi Pratt. I'm GLAD he has the sanity to say no to post-op Barbie. Heidi has the personality of a wet rag, and just imagine the chaos that scheming little punk Spencer would have wrought on the set! As much as I loved the first two movies, (One more than Two), they would have lost me, and I'm sure MANY other's if Heidi appeared anywhere in #3. Oh, and Megan? Guess "Mister Hitler" really DOES know what he's doing. He wrote YOU out, as soon as he could. Maybe Wal-Mart's hiring.
