Phil Spector Releasing Album Produced for His Wife

For his first recording project in 30 years, convicted murderer Phil Spector is releasing the debut album of his fourth wife, Rachelle. 'Out of My Chelle' will be released on June 8. "She's fantastic on this album," Spector said in a statement.

Spector, 70, who is in prison for the 2003 shooting of Hollywood actress Lana Clarkson, produced the tracks during his two murder trials.

Rachelle Spector's debut will feature a mainstream, adult pop sound and not Spector's trademark 'Wall of Sound' technique heard on songs like 'Be My Baby' and 'You've Lost That Loving Feeling.'

Spector married Rachelle, 29, three years after the shooting. The couple worked on the album for more than two years between his first trial, which ended in mistrial in 2007, and his second, which ended in conviction a year ago.

He is serving a minimum of 19 years in prison.

The last major album he produced on his own was 1980's 'End of the Century' by the Ramones.

Is there any person out there who would be remotely interested in hearing anything this pathetic freak would put out? What kind of decent, rational YOUNG woman would marry such a creep? A 29 year old married to this incarcerated murderer. What could possibly be the attraction? Oh wait, his money.

The whole Phil Spector story is a sad tragedy. He helped form the sound of Rock & Roll and greatly shaped the sound of music in the 60's and 70's. Bruce Springsteen, Cher, and Tina Turner can all acknowledge his influence in their long careers. Spector worked with the Beatles, Ramones, John Lennon, Ike & Tina and too many more to list here. He had it all. Fame, power and money. He lost his looks, his hair and his mind. His long time facination with guns did him in. He killed a woman because he loved guns and lost his mind. I think PS died a few years ago when he shot that gun for the last time. I find it sad that so many people ridicule, laugh and make jokes about a tragedy. He had it all, and blew it. What???? That's not prison (if you can do business while you're serving time and especially for murdering someone)!

Good luck getting anyone to actually buy it for the music! You may get some collectors out there for some reason, but not for anyone being in prison. They ought to think about what they are purchasing before they shell out their hard earned money for it.
You won't see me or any of my family buying it.
