The same guy won the show three years in a row, I think it's time to put Idol put to pasture now. Someone go ask Kris Allen how much being the American Idol helped him - I heard he moved back to Arkansas.

They were both deserving of the win. I could have supported either Lee or Crystal for different reasons and I will probably buy both thier CDs. Now it is up to them to keep the fans into the future. That is the real contest. Crystal and Lee will probably both do well. I wish them both the best.

First of all, Lee is cute, but he is not all that 'hot' looking to say he won on looks. If that were the case, guys who looked hotter were voted off before him! How do you suppose Crystal made it to final 2 if it's about looks? Because she is very, very unattractive. I think that like me, many are sick of the Janice Joplin copying she does. Really, Me and Bobby McGee?? Who wants to hear that?? Ugh. She sang every song exactly the same and tried to be a Joplin clone. Boring! Yes, good voice, but she will be stuck in a rut of the same old stuff. And Lee is really good anyway, so suck it up!

There wasn't anyone exciting on Idol this season. I wonder what happened to the judges choices. NO one with alot eye popping talent and looks. This is the last of the fun American Idol without Simon though...he made the show. I didn't watch the show much this season..not like last season.

Chrystal was awesome!! She performed her best every show. Lee was ok, but he didn't show up until the last few shows. Plus what kind of artist is Lee?? Chrystal was true to herself and her own style throughout the season!! BTW-- there are millions of people who wanted to hear Janis Joplin songs (timeless songs!!). I could have done without many of the other songs people sang?

2 years in a roll that the runner up should have been the idol!! Is America scared of singers, who know the artist they want to be?? Is America scared of people who are different??

Chrystal. I can't wait to buy your cd! Your Christian songs made me cry and touched my heart!! May God Bless You and your son!!!!

I really enjoyed the finale tonight . Was great seeing all the past winners . But I am sorry David Cook wasn't there .They said he was performing at a Cancer Charity Event in Kansas City .I am really sad about Simon leaving . But I think he sees the writing on the wall. But he will stay busy with X Factor and Britain's Got Talent .Two really top notch shows . And i'm sure he will be happy to be back home in England .Good luck Simon and Congratulations and good luck to Lee ..
