This is ridiculous--again. Unfortunately, the show is not about the most talented singer. It's about who is the most popular among the teenie-boppers. Crystal was by far the best singer this year, and she will be very successful. Her voice is amazing. Lee is a nice guy with a decent voice, but not in the same league as Crystal. It order for the choice to be rational, voters have to be limited to one vote per person.

Absolutely unreal result! Being a musician, Crystal blew me away and I predict a very successful career for her. As for Lee, he has a pleasant voice but his future as a singer will be extremely short lived. His talent is quite limited and he will go the way of some others who have won, never to really be heard from again. It is too bad that it is merely a popularity contest and not really a talent contest!

Bowersox hair looked like it was made of rooted vinyl-she needed a make-over desparetely and she was a bit of a dominetrix-all she needed was a good whip...Lee on the other hand was mysterious and had an aura of innocence that made his diamond-in-the-rough quality very intriguing--nothing fake just a raw voice reminiscent of Bruce Springsteen-everyone knows someone who remonds them of Lee-HE IS THE GUY YOU SHOULD HAVE MARRIED AND NOW YOU REGRET IT..I KNEW HE WAS GOING TO WIN FROM THE GET-GO.....

Lee only had 1 bad performance all season long and people start turning on him..He has a awesome voice and he deserved to win..although Crystal is good she wasn consistant enough..Lee won because he was the best case closed.

Last night's results prove that American Idolis mostly a popularity contest. The true vocal talents
are seldom recognized. While Lee rarely ever sang in tune during the regular season, it would
have been nice if he had at least hit a few of the notes during the performance following his
crowning as winner. I am a professional musician-singer-songwriter and have serious issues
with people winning singing contests who can barely hit their notes. The judges on Idol are often
tone deaf which only encourages mediocrity. Of the two finalists, Crystal was far superior. Once again, it proves that life is not fair.

I voted for Lee 10 times tuesday night. Not that I disliked Crystal, I just preferred him more. I'm glad my votes weren't wasted.
