Crystal should have won this. It is a shame that the "look" factor won. This is the second year in a row where someone that had less talent won just because of being cute. Sad shame. I wont buy Lee's cd but I will be the first in line to buy hers. She is more talented. Lee sings off key more than on key and you can never hear him. I give up on Idol.

OMG what a performance by Crystal I love her single "Up To The Mountain"! She should have won even though Lee was good in his own venue! Good luck to both these singers they are both great!

I heard Melissa Ethridge had gave a call to american Idol I think she is going to take Krystal under her wing You go girl And be true to yourself and the higher up. I am sick and tired of the best SINGER not winning. This will be the LAST season I watch this rigged show. Talent has nothing to do with the choices. Crystal was the best singer from day (1) one. Now that Simon is leaving, there is absolutely NO reason to watch. Good Riddance.

Crystal never gave even one bad performance and is the true winner with everyone who knows anything about music. She is the most awesome performer I have seen (female). Can't wait for her to make a CD. I will be the first in line to buy.

I think it's a good thing that Lee won. He's talented...and will need some help in finding direction. Acontract will give him that! Bowersox...lol...she knows where she's going and will get there. In fact I'll bet she's already signed a contract. However...let's be clear...SHE IS NO JOPLIN! I knew Joplin...and there will never be another!

go Crystal.. Although, Lee is good he is not always on target. Love his raspy tone but leave the pitchy crap has to go. Crystal nailed it every week. There was only one week where she wasn't up to par but other than that she never hit a bad note. Good luck to them both and Crystal you ROCK!..

my wife and I both think crystal should have won.....easily. The young girls that vote thousands of time, make a joke of any "fair" voting. They need to have a limit on the number of votes from any one phone. In addition, it is absolutely not fair that Simon and Randy go on TV and to say BEFORE the final vote have been takens that they think Lee will win. They kmow that this will influence millions of voters. Does this bother any one else?

Well Crystal all I can say is America got it wrong again.Lee was alright and I hope the best for him, but Crystal beat him by 1000% she is just remarkable
