Kate Gosselin a 'Nightmare' at 'DWTS' Finale

Kate Gosselin made lots of people watch 'Dancing With the Stars' before she was kicked off after five weeks, but one thing she didn't make was friends. According to my sources, Kate's return to the show's season finale last night only reminded everyone of how high-maintenance she was during her time on the show. Inside scoop on Kate's disastrous return ... after the jump!

Last Tango in Gosselin-ville

Seconds before Kate Gosselin was to hit the floor live on the 'Dancing With The Stars' finale, the octomom was once again causing trouble backstage at the ballroom.

"We had all just about forgotten what a nightmare Kate was," an insider tells me.

"She is the only celebrity in the entire 10 seasons who has demanded a security guard be with her at all times, and nothing anyone does is good enough. Last night, she actually wanted the temperature of the ballroom changed before she hit the floor. Kate hates to sweat and this was just another opportunity for her to be difficult."

However, it wasn't just the producers that Kate tortured. Sources tells me the hair and makeup staff dread her interfering, and the costume designers and dressers flip a coin to see who is going to have to deal with her. But the person who really deserves a prize is her partner, Tony, who is telling people that the notoriously difficult Barbra Streisand would be easier to work with than Kate.

Sarah Ferguson Wants to Do 'Dancing' for Spare Cash

My friend, The Duchess of York, has a plan to help her make a living, and it involves putting on her dancing shoes and joining the next season of 'Dancing With The Stars.'

"Sarah needs to earn money and it's not as easy as you might think for a Duchess to get a job," a friend of Fergie tells me.

After Naughty But Nice reported how much money Kate Gosselin made from her stint on the show, Sarah decided that this would be a good fit for her. She loves dancing, needs the money and also thinks the show would be a great place to start rehabilitating her image.

No word yet about what the producers think, but I say give Sarah a chance. She certainly couldn't be worse than Jeff Ross or Jerry Springer.

Go Joy, Kate haters need to get a life. How low of a human- being can one be when they have nothing better to do then to hate the mother of 8 children. All I ever saw kate do was adore her husband, her children and her life. She yelled at her husband twice and people have been crucifying her for it ever since, like she's the only wife who ever yelled at her husband. She's a great mother and a strong woman. Not to mention now that we know what a piece of trash Jon is we should be surprised she didn't yell at him more often. Go Kate.

Kate was awful, but I give her credit for going on the show. Not easy. That place holds 700 ppl and has a larger tv audience. I couldn't have done it. Most of the crap they spew about her is just that crap. Leave her alone already. Love to see how you ppl who critize would handle her life. Oh and I am tired of seeing athletes, professional dancers, olypiads and senior citizens over 70 dancing. They need to revamp that show big time! And replace Brook,shes so boring , all those tight and low cut dresses don't help with you can't do the job!

How do YOU know that this story is full of holes?? Were you at DWTS?? I don't think so. Kate needs to get a REAL job, did she ever hear of that? What do you think other single moms do??? I'm not letting Jon off either, but why doesn't she demand he get a job and the two them can work it out financially and raise those kids together WITHOUT GOING ON TV. People need to STOP sticking up for that DIVA!! She doesn't seem to care that Jon's not working, it gives her an excuse to go on TV.

I read the same article saying she was the ONLY one who had to have security. She SAYS she's doing all this "for the kids". . .BS! She's doing it all for herself (but can use the kids as the excuse for her "attention seeking". Did you read the article on her where she states she loves doing the ET bit & that's what she wants to do poorly worded on my part but I hope you get the gist)!!!

Amen Joy Amen He is the one that needs the trashing, not Kate he knew how she was before he asked her to marry him. Before he decided to have kids with her TWICE. We see though that he has almost faded in to nothingness. Custody was his attempt to regain his fame. As far as the idiots on here saying she could get a real job. If you recall her show was just a special at first. America fell in love with the family so TLC made it a big thing. In this economy eight now there is no way she could go back to work as a RN and support 8 kids on that salary. Bills alone would be more that she makes. Then who's going to keep 8 kids while she works schools only 7 hours. Most nursing shifts are 12 hours. She would have to get government support. At least she sees what is best for the kids and puts herself back into the public eye, to be picked apart by stupid vultures. Like the idiots on this site.

Joy, when Kate finally returned home to her children after DWTS she admitted to a reporter she was depressed. She claimed to have Post-DWTS depression. If that's your idea of a good mom..so be it. I personally would have looked forward to being home with my kids for a while and happy that I just made half a million dollars for a few lousy dances.

Truth hurts?
I also thought Kate has used up her 15 min. of fame and should retreat to the hole she came out of. I am not letting Jon off the hook either, he needs to support his kids, but at least he isnt making a fool of himself on tv or using his kids to support him or further his "celebrity" like she is. And as far as the security guard, she INSISTED on having one everywhere she went on the set,not that she needed one. Other celebrities may have had one, but that is because they needed one. Why does she need one?
