Kate Gosselin a 'Nightmare' at 'DWTS' Finale

Kate Gosselin made lots of people watch 'Dancing With the Stars' before she was kicked off after five weeks, but one thing she didn't make was friends. According to my sources, Kate's return to the show's season finale last night only reminded everyone of how high-maintenance she was during her time on the show. Inside scoop on Kate's disastrous return ... after the jump!

Last Tango in Gosselin-ville

Seconds before Kate Gosselin was to hit the floor live on the 'Dancing With The Stars' finale, the octomom was once again causing trouble backstage at the ballroom.

"We had all just about forgotten what a nightmare Kate was," an insider tells me.

"She is the only celebrity in the entire 10 seasons who has demanded a security guard be with her at all times, and nothing anyone does is good enough. Last night, she actually wanted the temperature of the ballroom changed before she hit the floor. Kate hates to sweat and this was just another opportunity for her to be difficult."

However, it wasn't just the producers that Kate tortured. Sources tells me the hair and makeup staff dread her interfering, and the costume designers and dressers flip a coin to see who is going to have to deal with her. But the person who really deserves a prize is her partner, Tony, who is telling people that the notoriously difficult Barbra Streisand would be easier to work with than Kate.

Sarah Ferguson Wants to Do 'Dancing' for Spare Cash

My friend, The Duchess of York, has a plan to help her make a living, and it involves putting on her dancing shoes and joining the next season of 'Dancing With The Stars.'

"Sarah needs to earn money and it's not as easy as you might think for a Duchess to get a job," a friend of Fergie tells me.

After Naughty But Nice reported how much money Kate Gosselin made from her stint on the show, Sarah decided that this would be a good fit for her. She loves dancing, needs the money and also thinks the show would be a great place to start rehabilitating her image.

No word yet about what the producers think, but I say give Sarah a chance. She certainly couldn't be worse than Jeff Ross or Jerry Springer.

The woman has no rhythm whatsoever and she was a disaster to watch both last night and the times she was on earlier. Poor Tony! He had to endure that witch. Her kids oughta' be taken away from her....she's neglecting them. Like someone else said...she needs to get a real job.

Oh baloney. She put herself "out there" for the sake of her children? Don't insult our intelligence.

Kate needs to support her family, just like the rest of us. The fact is that she WANTS to support them AS A CELEBRITY. In my opinion, Kate is out for Kate and she is willing to exploit her children to achieve that goal.

Let's face it: the stork didn't drop those eight kids on her doorstep. She underwent fertility treatment ( after already having twins ) and then turned her litter into a cash cow.

But none of this matters, because the more we hate her, the more the networks and sponsors LOVE her. She's a guaranteed draw.

And Kate? She's "victimized" and "maligned" ... all the way to the bank.

You want her to go away? Stop talking about her. Stop watching any program she is on. The only way she will fade into oblivion is if the viewing public makes her a media non-entity.

Boy, did you get that right....if the idiots out in the public would quit watching, etc. maybe she will fade away. What in the world makes her think she's a celebrity, she just happens to be a women who has 8 kids - her claim to fame - she has no talent and the personality of a rock. What a narcissist. I will not watch anything she's on. Hopefully her new show will bomb.

Wow I am not alone I saw the writing on the wall years ago and was one of the first to jump on the band wagon with it's. Anti fan chant ......." HATE KATE", "HATE KATE" "HATE KATE" Really Glad that NCIS was on with the season finale.

Look, Kate sux as a dancer, her try last nite was "pathetic" just like her! The new shows she has going ,well, I predict not enough viewers=bad ratings= bye bye,FINALLY!!!!!

You shouldn't criticize others until you have walked in their shoes. God is in control of all things and he is providing her a way to take care of her family. You don't have to like her personally. She is making a living for her family (high maintenance or not.) She is not on welfare and expecting others to take care of her family.

I have read that Kate grew up dirt poor.

You find that people who grew up very poor and make some money later on in life either remember where they came from and treat everyone with kindness and respect.

Or, they act like the stereotypical neuvou riche. Kate acts like the neuvou riche.

Contrast Kate with someone like Kelly Clarkson, who waited tables while trying get her career going before "AI" Not only doesn't she treat people like Kate does, she's been known to make her bed while staying in a hotel and still leaving a very generous tip for the maid.

Sure hope ABC goes after people to be the partners to dancing stars that are not ego maniacs. This women had invitro treatments and brought 8 children into the world excuyse me but is that a surprize....NO!!!!. KUDOS TO Tony D what a professional he is. Sure hope they do not give him another person on a ego trip the next time. WHY does she need security?? In case the Psychic hospital catches up with her????

Tony is a saint, in my opinion. ABC owes him BIG TIME after what he had to endure this season.

Next season, the DWTS producers should make sure HE gets a partner who is the caliber of the professional dancer female "contestants" on the program and not some cow he has to push across the floor or aging pseudo-celebrity who will be gone three weeks into the show.

I think it's time we get to see TONY dance and showcase what HE is able to do with a REAL dancing partner. He's such a sweetie :-) It's his turn to get a partner that he can actually do something with!

I would have thought Kate would have used the time from being booted off DWTS to practice her dance moves in the basement ABC built in her home in PA. Guess not! Her featured dance last night was worst than bad! When the cameras were filming their practice session for the final episode, Kate suggested to Tony that she should just run off the dance floor screaming "I can't do this!" I believe Tony didn't know she was going to actually run off as he looked very surprised when it happened. Just shows Kate has to be in control!! In the earlier dance segment with the other past contestants, Kate couldn't even get those few dance steps right. It looked like she was pleading with Tony to tell her what to do. It would have been better and more entertaining to watch the 8 Gosselin kids dance. ABC really screwed up! I hope they select real "stars" next season.
