Wow, Lee is great! America knows how to pick the best. And yes he really deserves it not by just his singing, he is just a sincere guy and his personally really shines thru.I know he has just made his parents proud.
Yes good job. But I wonder why Lee changed the lyrics from Its A Beautiful day, U2's , to It Was a beautiful Day. Why the change? I think Lee is fantastic but juts the lyrics question

Lee and Crystal were my picks for the finale when the season started, and this time i didnt care who won the American Idol title since the both of them were going to be set no matter how the votes went. Im a big,big fan of them both, but I will admit, I screamed with excitement when Lee won!

I have no idea where he got "flack" from for performing this song. I thought it was incredible! The arrangement was as well. I want some more of that please. I hope to hear a lot more from this guy. I'm sure we will. Didn't follow idol that much. background noise... seeing how ellen was doin....but I remember going from one room to the other when I heard this guys voice. A few times. I did for Crystal too, she's probably already signed to a contract. They were both great. Glad Lee won!

Yes I think Lee worked at believing in himself and I enjoyed
Hallaleuya and Beautiful Day. He didn't try to add riffs
and extra words, he sang the song with feeling, and it showed.
I think the panel of judges were betting on Chrystal, and she
also had a good voice, but I think she was too out there.
I am looking forward to Lee doing music. I for one will
buy his albums.

It doesn't matter what the judges wanted. If they want to have the responsibility of naming the winner, then they need to stop allowing the viewing public vote for who they like. Crystal was a bit too risky because they didn't know how to market her. Lee is easier to market. I listened to his song that is recorded and it sounds much better. All most all of the top 10 will do great. The top 5 will have offers rolling in after the obligation to American Idol is finished (the Idols tour). We will hear from a lot of them again.
