DeWyze is this year's 'American Idol.' He beat fellow contestant Crystal Bowersox.

Lee took some flack for 'Beautiful Day' on the first night of the finale, but he later defended himself. "It's not easy performing in front of seven thousand people in a situation like that," he told PEOPLE. Listen Here

I am extreamly happy for Lee - I believe America voted for the right person. Crystal and Lee are stars, and I hope to attend their concerts. I will for sure buy their CD's. My prayers are with both Lee and Crystal.

Lee certainly deserved to win. "Halleluja" by Lee gives me chills. Also love him singing "The Boxer". He is so fabulous and a sweet guy. I do like Crystal, too. And I hope they both have wonderful careers ahead of them.

Lee you are awesome, followed you all the way thru American Idol and jumped, clapped and cried when you won I was so happy. Love the song Beautiful Day. I am not one to do this sort of thing I am 63 yrs old but son, you captured my heart. Don't ever loose your home style side, thats what makes you different. I feel that Lee should have recorded Hallelujah singing all of the verses. It is a much better choice than Beautiful Day.

Lee is very capable -- just needs to have some good managers to help with the song selection. He has the vocals.
