Gary Coleman has been hospitalized in Utah and is in critical condition after injuring his head as the result of a fall.
ABC News is reporting that Coleman "has slipped into a coma" and is currently on life support. Coleman suffered an intracranial hemorrhage according to the ABC report, and remains unconscious from the injury.
On Thursday, an attorney for Coleman said that the family did not want to release any information.
"Anything they could say would be premature because they don't know the full extent of his condition right now," Randy Kester, Coleman's lawyer, told The Associated Press.
Earlier in the day, Coleman's wife, Shannon Price, released a brief statement
to KUTV asking for support, saying: "Gary was taken to the hospital with a serious medical problem yesterday, we are asking for everyone's prayers at this time. We hope those prayers are answered and that Gary will be able to recover and return home soon."
Coleman's health has been an issue of late, as the 42-year-old actor has suffered two seizures this year. The first occurred on January 6, while the second
took place in late February while he was on the set of 'The Insider.' During the
911 call from the latter incident, an 'Insider' staffer who called it in told the operator, "We have someone having a seizure right now on our stage ... we just need someone as soon as possible."
The actor has also undergone two kidney transplants -- one in 1973 and one in 1984 --- to help curb the kidney disease nephritis, which he has battled for decades. It's that disease which is responsible for stunting his growth.
Health woes aside, Coleman has also found himself in legal trouble in recent years. In January, Coleman
was arrested at his Utah home after failing to appear in court for a domestic violence warrant. The domestic violence charges were eventually dropped, and he pleaded guilty to misdemeanor criminal mischief charge. He was ordered to take a domestic violence class and pay a $595 fine.

AW, "What you talking about Willis"? I watched that show when I was little and he was funny. That show has like a curse on it. Really sad. I wish him the best and Get Better Soon!

Hes a nasty little man anyway....

Ever stop and wonder why he is a nasty little man? If you had the life he has had, I wonder how you would be? You should google him and see the crap he has had to deal with since a child. All he has ever wanted was just a little bit of hapiness. I wish him a speedy recovery. God bless you Gary!
Diff'rent Strokes a great show??? my favorite was the one when Arnold and Dudley "ran" into the child molester that owned the bike store...that was gold!!!

As I recall, Gary's parents spent all his money.
The reason he was so small was due to childhood kidney disease.
And only "half a man" would make fun of someone for being short or any other condition they endure which is not their fault or no result of their own behavior.

Evidently Gary Coleman has been having lots of problems throughout his life. About 15 years ago he was having a lot of strokes. The hospital has issued a statement saying that he is now have strokes again but they are not the same strokes, they are DIFFERENT STROKES. Like, they can't quite figure out which kind of strokes these are that he is now having, they just know they are different from the ones before. It would make more sense if these were the same kinds of strokes but they are not. They are Different Strokes.

Laura Baatz, you are totally bats.
Your sick attempt at humor is just that, sick.
That's what Willis was talkin' 'bout!

Gary Coleman has been sick for many years and if Im not mistaken I believe at one point he was taking dialyisis. All I know is that he was dealt a rough hand. Life is unfair but he's making the best of it as best as he can. I wish him well.

42 is old. Aging sure makes life suck!

He has always been such an angry little man. Makes you wonder if anything has ever made him happy.

LIFE HAS MADE HIM ANGRY..
He has had a pretty tough life. His parents stole his money. He has had two kidney transplants. He is short and not attractive so getting women was hard for him. I think he has mental issues especially being a washed up child star. It must be rough for him to have had people use him. Apparently the girl that married him didnt even have sex with him. His self esteem has made him explode in anger at everything. Hollywood will use you up. It is how you handle the rough parts of your career that gets you thru. I wish him well because he is hurting right now and I dont think he deserves so much harsh critism. Get well Gary.
