Doctor Advised Mariah Carey To Drop Out of Film

Mariah Carey abruptly dropped out of Tyler Perry's new film earlier this week, setting off a firestorm of speculation that the singer is pregnant. But is she? "She is not doing the movie because her doctor advised her not to," her rep told Us Magazine. "More than that I cannot comment further."

Carey was set to appear in the adaptation of Ntozake Shange's 1975 play 'For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf,' which was set to start filming next month.

Several weeks ago, Carey denied rumors that she was expecting her first child with husband Nick Cannon after photos of the singer prompted speculation. But this time around, the 41-year-old superstar hasn't confirmed or denied the rumors.

Cannon has spoken of wanting children. "We're going to do it, and when we do it, we're going to let you all know. But right now, we're trying to enjoy the newlywed aspect," he told PEOPLE last year.

In celebration of their recent second wedding anniversary, the couple renewed their vows at their Beverly Hills home. The 'Obsessed' singer went on Twitter to share the news.

"So last night's wedding vow renewal & small party was a SG ... too many cameras (from close & far!) but it was beautiful. NC is the best," she wrote. "The festive moments continue. Sending LOVE to all the LAMBS in the land as always and happiness to everyone out there."

The ceremony marked Carey's third walk down the aisle with Cannon. The couple wed in April 2008 at Carey's Bahamian estate after dating for only six weeks.

Mariah can not act, so this doctor gave her some great advice. How do I know she can't act? I was one of the 3 people who saw Glitter, and I'm not proud to admit it.

She should stick to what she does best.

She makes me sick--she looks and acts so fake (no, I'm not talking about her film.) She is another person that needs to grow up--she isn't 24 any longer. Why is she wearing high heels to the gym? Everytime I see her, I see her crown on her head.

Heels to the gym? That screams, "Hey, everyone! Look at me! Don't I look just too-too-cute in these heels?"
And from various parts of the gym can be heard, snickering, muffled laughter and a couple out-loud belly laughs!

Puhleeze! If the woman wants to wear high heels to the gym, then she can.. because she (unlike most of you nit pick'n haters) actually looks decent. That's right, I said it.. most of you out there only wish you looked as good as Mariah even if you're half her age. Worse, most of you out there bumping your gums will look be fat as a cow (if you're not already) and simply look like an unhealthy mess with bad skin when you're 41 years old. That's why most of your husbands would't want to take you to their 25th high school reunion if they had a choice. That's the real deal.

Mariah looks better at 41 than most of you did at 21. End of story.

My there are some nasty, ignorant people here. They seem to have forgotten that Carey got high praise in a film nominated for Best Picture this year. As for her race, Carey is honest about her mixed heritage unlike phonies who had black, sperm donor fathers they never knew. She is lucky to be out of this impossible to make film. I saw the original play several times and this is the ultimate challenge..that will absolutely fail.

I knew all of this back in the 90s. Others just loved this woman.
Her singing was great back then, maybe still is. I never listen to this cow. I cant stand any woman to TRY to look 21, when their way over the hill. Great example, high heels to a gym. That screams, LOOK AT ME.. IM ALL THAT !!!
These kinds of woman are desperate, for ANY and ALL men to take a second look.
I cant believe this cow would allow herself to be pregnant. Shes way to selfish, and way to into herself to allow herself to get in that possition.
If she is,, I do feel so sorry for the child. A nanny would have to raise it.
