Artie Glackin, who worked with Coleman, sent his thoughts and prayers along too. "I had the opportunity to work with Gary Coleman on an independent feature called '
A Christmas Too Many.' I was the first assistant director. We got the chance to get to know each other. He is very professional on set and a great guy off set. He never complained and was full of great ideas. My love and prayers go out to Gary, his wife and those close to him."

I used to laugh till I cried watching Gary Coleman on Different Strokes, now I'm crying for a different reason hearing of his death. A person that made so many people happy with that great smile and wit, yet he himself had such moments of misery in his life. I'll really miss you Gary...my condolances to your family.
